The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1-second and delivers up to 1-hour of run-time per charge. The cordless string trimmer is made up of 2 components the M18 FUEL Power Head w/ QUIK-LOK and QUIK-LOK String Trimmer Attachment. This M18 FUEL Power Head, part of the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, is compatible with multiple attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer, and Pole Saw attachment. This gives users the ability to quickly swap out attachments on a single Power Head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 6,200 RPM with up to a 16 cutting swath, and gives you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance, and maneuverability. REDLINK PLUS intelligence ensures maximum performance while protecting from overload, overheating and over discharge. The Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 Ah Battery Pack delivers up to 2.5X more runtime, 20% more power and 2X more recharges than standard lithium-ion batteries. I keep purchasing Milwaukee tools and every time I buy a new one I am shocked about how good it is I don’t know why because they’re all great tools but it’s funny how they keep finding ways to improve from other people’s mistakes! I love when we need her very easy to get the line out of the spool. It’s much longer than my previous weedeater which caused me to have to bend over and really hurt my back so I like the length of this one. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new weedeater.

It is so convenient to just pick up the trimmer and pull the trigger. If I need to move from one spotter to another, no reason to keep it running just ease of the throttle and move in peace. It’s so much quieter than my old gas model (and much cleaner not having to mix and store gas). I’m sure my neighbors probably appreciate it as much as I do. It’s got plenty of power and runs off of a XC5.0 battery just fine, but the bigger batteries seem to make it a little less front heavy and improve the weight balance. Highly recommend.

I’ve used it for a couple of weeks now, so far so good, the tool has plenty of power and easy to use. Very versatile with all the other tools we purchased as addons; the adaptable articulating hedge trimmer, extension pole, and tree trimmer. All three tools work seamlessly with the power head and the battery is so much better than the gas version from the past.
