The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1-second and delivers up to 1-hour of run-time per charge. The cordless string trimmer is made up of 2-components the M18 FUEL Power Head w/ QUIK-LOK and QUIK-LOK String Trimmer Attachment. This M18 FUEL Power Head, part of the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, is compatible with multiple attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer, and Pole Saw attachment. The Milwaukee 48-59-1806 is a M18 Sequential 6 Port Charger. The charger holds up to 6 batteries at a time, and charges them sequentially, 1 at a time. The charger also offers a compact design, integrated hang holes for vertical mounting, and a pass through plug to conserve outlet space. The new unit will charge M18 compact batteries in 30-minutes, and extended capacity (XC) batteries in 60-minutes. With this new 6-pack charger, users can reduce the amount of time spent changing out batteries, increasing productivity on the jobsite.

Overall I am happy with the product, but my unit does not charge CP 1.5 smaller size batteries. I am not sure if it’s specified in the manual or not, but I would think it would be nice if the charging unit was universal for all M 18 batteries sizes. It charges larger ones with no issues. Since I have multiple batteries, it is not a problem, but I guess for someone with just a few it can be an issue.

People dont get the point this is the best thing because at the end of the day you put all your battieries on it and it charges them so the next day you come in to work there all charged otherwise youd have to stay at the job all night switching them out

I am soo impressed with the new Milwaukee drill and impact that I purchased several months ago. They surpass the run time and power of the Dewalt, Ridged and Ryobi tools that I have used for many years. I am a contractor and have used the other guys for over 20 years but the New Milwaukee tool systems and batteries are far superior! Way to go guys!

Very happy with this trimmer. Balanced well and easy to use. I bought this for my wife to use in the garden area which has a lot of ground. It trims grass and weeds with ease. We have our bigger trimmers for bigger stuff like thick brush around the farm. You can use this Milwaukee trimmer to cut thick stuff but I don’t think it was made for that. We used my 12ah battery for longer run time and power but you can use any battery. It feeds out line very smoothly with just a bump on the trim head. Reloading line with no tools is a plus. Don’t have to remove or open the trim head to reload line. Just feed line through the holes, make sure line is equal on both sides of trim head and wind the reloader by hand. We are getting the pole saw attachment this morning which is another great feature about this tool. You can swap the head to accommodate what your needs are. Built super solid! I really recommend this to anyone looking for a cordless trimmer. A lil pricey, but well worth the cost for a tool that can more than trim.

Good charger. Seems to be built very well. Does a good job charging. My only wish with this product would be that it would charge two batteries at a time instead of just one. I completely understand the reasons for not having it charge all six batteries at one time, but sometimes, on bigger jobs, I do need to get more than one battery charged at a time. Overall, great product and performs as advertised.
