The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1 second and delivers up to 1-hour of run-time per charge. The cordless string trimmer is made up of 2 components the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK and QUIK-LOK String Trimmer Attachment. This M18 FUEL Power Head, part of the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, is compatible with multiple attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer and Pole Saw attachment. This gives users the ability to quickly swap out attachments on a single Power Head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 6,200 RPM with up to a 16 cutting swath and gives you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance and maneuverability. REDLINK PLUS intelligence ensures maximum performance while protecting from overload, overheating and over discharge. Includes the Milwaukee 0.095 in. string trimmer line that utilizes high grade polymers and a full mass, twisted design to provide longer life and greater cutting power.

It is so convenient to just pick up the trimmer and pull the trigger. If I need to move from one spotter to another, no reason to keep it running just ease of the throttle and move in peace. It’s so much quieter than my old gas model (and much cleaner not having to mix and store gas). I’m sure my neighbors probably appreciate it as much as I do. It’s got plenty of power and runs off of a XC5.0 battery just fine, but the bigger batteries seem to make it a little less front heavy and improve the weight balance. Highly recommend.

Love it! It has as much power a gas trimmer with half the headache. I love that I can use the Milwaukee batteries from my other Milwaukee tools and I don’t have to worry about trying to get it started or toting a cord around.

Not anywhere as powerful as a four stroke gasser but what it lacks in performance it gains in convenience. Easy, doesn’t weigh anything, and eventually it gets the job done as a string trimmer. Where this thing really gets it’s worth is in the attachments. I haven’t gotten all of them yet because of their price but eventually it will be worth the switch to cordless.
