The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer Kit with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1-second and features a balanced design which increases user control. The cordless string trimmer is made up of 2 components the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK and QUIK-LOK String Trimmer Attachment. This M18 FUEL Power Head, part of the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, is compatible with multiple attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer and Pole Saw attachment. This gives users the ability to quickly swap out attachments on a single Power Head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 6,200 RPM with up to a 16 cutting swath and gives you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance and maneuverability. REDLINK PLUS intelligence ensures maximum performance while protecting from overload, overheating and over discharge.

JUST WISH IT SHIPPED WITH SMALL BOTTLE OF CHAIN OIL AND HEDGE TRIMMER LIGHT WEIGHT OIL. The pictures say it all. What is used to look like. To what it looks like after my new Milwaukee edger got a hold of it. Still have not tried the string trimmer, pole saw or the hedge trimmers. Do to, now having too go back to the store to buy some. I ordered this set online. Not thinking about needing oils. Being most items in the past have come with a starter bottle. I did purchase the blower separately and that was Nice and Light. I did also purchase a hight output 3.0 ahu extra battery as a back up. And to use with the pole saw.

This Beasty monster is flat out better than a gas string trimmer with little to no maintenance and is ultra powerful and the battery last very long i was cutting over an hour with a 9.0ah HD im crazy about this quick lock system im so happy i chose it over the other brands and purchased all of the attachments that it comes with and that articulating arm hedge trimmer is unbelievably made supremely constructed and beautiful to look at with percision sharp teeth, HURRY UP AND GO PURCHASE ONE, STOP PLAYING!

Replaced a 4 cycle Craftsman gas trimmer / edger with this and it is terrific. Not going back to gas powered again. This does the job well and is a little pricey but worth it. Would be nice to have a strap included but that is available at extra cost.

I work on power lines, and the ability to quickly clear around the base of a pole is key. This string trimmer is in the same class as my more expensive gas versions. Because its battery its always ready to work. The included 8.0 battery is great, but use the 12.0 and it runs non stop. I recently bought the pole saw attachment and that is truly impressive from this 18v platform. Good job milwaukee with this quality product.
