The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer Kit with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1 second and features a balanced design which increases user control. The cordless string trimmer is made up of 2 components the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK and QUIK-LOK String Trimmer Attachment. This M18 FUEL Power Head, part of the QUIK-LOK Attachment System, is compatible with multiple attachments such as an Edger, Articulating Hedge Trimmer and Pole Saw attachment. This gives users the ability to quickly swap out attachments on a single Power Head, delivering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 6,200 RPM with up to a 16 cutting swath and gives you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance and maneuverability. REDLINK PLUS intelligence ensures maximum performance while protecting from overload, overheating and over discharge. The Milwaukee 0.095 in. string trimmer line utilizes high grade polymers and a full mass, twisted design to provide longer life and greater cutting power. Optimized for the M18 FUEL String Trimmer, the line produces less noise and longer run time. The donut includes 250 ft. of 0.095 in. line.

Replaced a 4 cycle Craftsman gas trimmer / edger with this and it is terrific. Not going back to gas powered again. This does the job well and is a little pricey but worth it. Would be nice to have a strap included but that is available at extra cost.

Honestly this is the toughest trimmer line I have ever used. I have always used a stihl gas powered trimmer and stihl trimmer line. Going around my back lawn I would have to feed new line out 4 or 5 times. With this brand I only feed out more line once or twice. And it cuts grass and weeds just fine. I find myself able to tackle heavier weeds than before without going through line like crazy. Very pleased!

1st I’m a pro lawn guy. I use echo weedeaters and although they are tough they are finiky- carburators, fuel and air filters, oil to gas ratios jeez Louise I have more important things to do. This Milwaukee trimmer has really simplified my operation. Battery life is decent but I always have another on the charger in my truck. It’s powerful and make short work of edging and weed whacking. I really like that the drive motor is not on the head of the trimmer and that once I pull the trigger there is no lag in operation. They are a bit pricey but I plan on introducing another one into my business this coming season. You guys and gals who do your own lawn- buy it,to the pros out there you can’t go wrong- buy an additional battery.
