The Milwaukee M18 FUEL String Trimmer Combo Kit with QUIK-LOK, designed for landscape maintenance professionals, provides users with the power to clear thick brush, reaches full throttle in under 1 second and delivers up to 1-hour of run-time per charge. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 6,200 RPM with up to a 16 cutting swath and gives you the power to maintain speed in demanding applications without bogging down. The motor is positioned in the rear of the trimmer to provide the best combination of power, balance and maneuverability. M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment is powered by the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK and is compatible with the QUIK-LOK Attachment System. The attachment’s articulating mechanism allows for 270 rotation of the blade set, which gives users 13 operating positions and 1 storage position. M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK Edger Attachment is powered by the M18 FUEL Power Head with QUIK-LOK and is compatible with the QUIK-LOK Attachment System. The unit features an 8 in. blade and high strength guard for increased durability. M18 FUEL QUIK-LOK 10 in. Pole Saw Attachment is powered by the M18 FUEL Power Head and with QUIK-LOK is compatible with the QUIK-LOK Attachment System. The unit features a 10 in. Oregon bar and chain which provides users with smooth and fast cuts with minimal kickback.

I work on power lines, and the ability to quickly clear around the base of a pole is key. This string trimmer is in the same class as my more expensive gas versions. Because its battery its always ready to work. The included 8.0 battery is great, but use the 12.0 and it runs non stop. I recently bought the pole saw attachment and that is truly impressive from this 18v platform. Good job milwaukee with this quality product.

It’s quite, lite weight as compared to my gas one. The only concern I have is the feeder for the string,it keeps getting to tight to come out when I bump the feeder, I will need to call Milwaukee out that.

Replaced a 4 cycle Craftsman gas trimmer / edger with this and it is terrific. Not going back to gas powered again. This does the job well and is a little pricey but worth it. Would be nice to have a strap included but that is available at extra cost.
