This saw is excellent. Up until I purchased this I used both corded worm drive saw and sidewinders at work but preferred the rear handle worm saws for both power and visibility. While this isn’t a worm saw it still has plenty of power, especially for a cordless tool. I run an 8.0 high output battery and it cuts through lvls, PT, and timbers no problem. Only complaint and this may be the battery, it does start to bog down towards the end of the battery. I’d rather it have full power and instantly cut out rather than the last 10 cuts having half the power.

I’m a foreman for an in ground custom gunite swimming pool construction company. Sometimes we have great access to electric, sometimes we rely heavily on cordless tools. This rear handle saw rivals, beats our rear handle corded saw from the yellow brand. This saw is lighter, easier to use, more comfortable and just as powerful if not more powerful. I’m just a DIYer that does projects on my own home, a few of my neighbors and my dads home. But I to take pride in the work i do. ( I don’t charge anyone BTW) I love this saw, real smooth but a lot of power. And I had my doubts cause I’m used to corded saws and didn’t think a battery powered saw could hang with a corded one. So I took a chance and it paid off. Hasn’t stalled on me yet and I put it through some tough nonstop cuts. I love the clear view line of sight. I’m even ok with the bevel release latch I keep hearing negative things about. Works fine for me. I honestly can’t think of anything different Milwaukee could’ve done or do to improve this saw. It’s really my go to saw!! Great job!!

I’ve been using this saw to build home projects such as chests and shelving and other stuff. It has the power to cut through anything even with the 5.0 battery. I recently put an 8.0 HO and the run time is basically endless. I credibly visibility and control with the rear handle and blade left design. I have fairly little circ saw experience but I took to this thing immediately. Great choice for anyone and you can’t go wrong. I use Milwaukee tools at my main job in the oil and gas industry and the performance is unmatched

Great Saw, a little heavy. The only two drawbacks that I see are the following. 1. the side discharge it’s to the left, just wish it would blow downward instead upward – sideways.2. All the numbered marks were highlighted in red so it could be seen easier.

Got back into rough framing after a 9 year absence. Updating tools and bought this saw. Works great. I put a 6.0 battery in it. Can typically cut all day long. When ripping 2x the battery dies out pretty quick but the saw powers through every thing I have cut with it. Highly recommend it.
