I received this as a christmas present and talk about feeling like a kid again. I couldnt wait to start ripping with this saw, i went out and bought a few sheets of plywood. I should have bought more as quick as this saw cut through them. The saw fits comfortably in your hand and makes it all the easier to control. Straight cuts were a breeze. The only way this saw gets better is by adding an LED light or LED guide laser.

Where do you start. First of all you open the box look in awe and ask yourself “What did I just buy”! It’s an animal to look at and first thought I have to go to the gym. Assembled and with the HD12.0 it has 2 handles and when held feels more like a hand held table saw. Not as heavy as it looks and well balanced. First task at hand was to rip 1 1/8” off a full sized 2” x 11 3/4” x 10ft red oak. Set the saw on the mark and walked through this board with ease, one handed and almost effortless stopping twice only so I could move my supports. Power to spare and amazingly quiet. No I won’t be returning this beast and don’t even think of asking to borrow it!!The rear handle makes gliding the saw along a workpiece much easier and positions your body for better visibility, safety and effortless use. So impressed. I also have the 6 1/2” circular saw and bought my wife the 5 3/8” M12 she absolutely love it, size weight and performance. Thanks Milwaukee.

I have only really use this a couple of times but it seems just as strong as my corded worm drive saw. It seems to cut well and very little resistance when making a cut… Seems to Glide on and through through stock. Would like it if table was as wide as motor so when making a deep cut the motor did not get in the way of the guide board I use. But works great cutting on the other side of the saw.

Has plenty of power. Nice when cutting plywood because you can push it thru 4’ crosscut without over extending yourself. Cut treated doesn’t big down, has power of corded. What I don’t like is when I’m ripping it ejects out left side and I’m covered with sawdust. Has a narrow baseplate. Would love it more if I was left handed

I was concerned about the weight and balance of the tool because I’ve never had a rear handle saw. Well first cut I was amazed. Thought I would need to hold forward handle but did not. Really nice to be able to see the cut and the line without peeking through tha circular saw like all my old saws. My corded saw found the trash can.

I had the other fuel 7 1/4 saw and it did decently well. I still carried a corded saw in my trailer for stair stringers and anything bigger than 2×8. Now with this new saw I haven’t touched a corded or the other fuel 7 1/4. Yea it’s a bit heavy but with a 12.0 in it, it can’t be stopped. I own 20-25 Milwaukee tools and more batteries than that, and this is probably top 2 favorite tool.

Used daily on construction sites, 2 weeks after purchase it fell 28 feet off a roof but still worked fine just had a badly bent shoe, ordered a replacement but straightened the old one in a vise until the new one arrived. Overall very impressive if you’re used to the weight & extra reach associated with a worm drive, power meets or exceeds 15 amp corded equivalent.
