The tool is a far stretch better than my first Milwaukee cordless drill. That was a 12v model back in 1993. I had gone yellow about 11 years ago. When it came time to replace those tools I looked at the broad range of Milwaukee tools that utilize the same design batteries and decided to go back to Team Red. So far I’m extremely pleased with that decision. Comfortable to use. Great battery life.

It has more power, more control, and better battery life than any other impact driver on the site. I use Milwaukee tools on a large variety of projects. The dependability and endurance is unmatched. The only draw back is thieves love them compared to other cordless products. Keep them close or they will grow legs. Smh.

I had my old Milwaukee impact (2650-20)That I used for 6-7 years ! It still worked but I have more updated FUEL tools that work great , and finally after long time I decided it was time to get a new fuel m18 impact . I have the m12 compact impact that works so well , but I love it so much that I didn’t want to keep abusing it with the heavy stuff I was using it for . ( even tho it works just as well ) the new m18 fuel is lightweight and heavy duty .Drives smooth and faster than any other brand . Highly highly recom

This is simply a must have for any trade I am a plumber by trade and a carpenter by hobby and I use this impact both on and off of the job, and it handles both perfectly. I love the variable speed where if I am using it with drill bits I have a higher speed setting and if I am using it on a fastener on wood I have a slower speed so I don’t split the wood. The ergonomics on this impact are so good that this feels like it was made just for my hands. It’s so light and small that I can carry it around my belt and it’s not a burden and it’s small enough to get into tiny spaces but doesn’t lack any power. This impact does pack a punch I’ve pulled lug nuts off of cars with just this tiny impact and it’s durable as well, I’ve dropped it from multiple ladders and it’s never let me down. This really is the best bet if you’re looking for a new impact driver.
