The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1/2 in. Compact Impact Wrench with Friction Ring is the most compact in its class, delivering users the most access in tight spaces, up to 250 ft./lbs. of nut-busting torque, and maximum workspace visibility. This battery-powered impact wrench measures only 4.9 in. L with a POWERSTATE Brushless motor to provide the power to remove stubborn fasteners, even in confined spaces. The Milwaukee 1/2 in. impact wrench has tri-LEDs that surround the anvil to deliver users brighter light with fewer shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF control applies no more than 20 ft./lbs. of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent overtightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control delivers full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent fastener drops. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence electronics make these controls possible while ensuring maximum performance, protecting the tool against overloads, over-heating, and over-discharge.

I have needed a compact IMPACT wrench to work in unusually close and tight spaces. so I looked around and finally found the ideal battery operated torque wrench that gave me all and more of the features that I needed. This unit is well lit around the fitting making it easy to see the work area and accomplish the necessary work quickly and safely. The power is easy to adjust and can virtually eliminate any damage to the threads or bolts. Another great Milwaukee product.

Has good balance in your hand. Has plenty of power for what I use it for. Only thing I don’t like about it is sometimes the speed buttons gets bumped and changed on it’s own.

My new Milwaukee M18 Fuel compact impact wrench kit is fantastic for my use around the farm. This kit is #2855-22 and comes with 2 big 5ah batteries, the compact 1/2 inch drive tool with friction ring socket retention, charger and a hard case. My favorite feature is the LED triple lights on the nose. It really lights up the work area. The tool features 4 mode operation for versatility. As always the Milwaukee build quality and useability is second to none.

Amazing tool. A ton of power in a compact impact wrench gives you a lot of flexibility and maneuverable and its not real heavy so you could carry it around and use it all day without a lot of fatigue. The 3 LED lights are an upgrade from one on previous models adds a lot of light if you are working in dark places. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an excellent impact wrench

The perfect impact wrench for those tight spaces. Milwaukee really has made a premium compact impact wrench to help you reach those tight spots and with 250 ft lbs of torque you should be able to loosen any of those stubborn nuts.Overall the wrench appears to be well made with over molding protection where it is needed. But you can also get a protective boot cover for the wrench head for more protection. The anvil is quality steel and comes with 1/2inch anvil with friction ring. Some of the more tech features the wrench comes with is the tri LED lights that really brighten the work area. The wrench also comes with auto shut off mode and bolt removal mode. These are the 4 rpm modes ranging from 900 rpms to 2,400 rpms. The wrench is nice and compact about 5 inches from back to top of anvil. Light weights also weighing in at just under 4 pounds. The kit you are getting a hard case that is not pack out comparable, 2 xc 5.0 batteries and a standard charger. The wrench had great performance for me with no major issues noted with the removal of nuts or tightening of nuts. The wrench paired with the 5.0 batteries gives you plenty of power and run time to work. The only issue I noted which is minor is I noticed the Milwaukee sockets went on very easy and came off very easy. However, I noticed for some reason other branded sockets seemed a little harder to get on and take off. That could be a user error but not that major of an issue.Overall I am very impressed with this wrench and the compact size. Milwaukee has really been able to scale down the size of this impact wrench and not sacrifice any of the power. I would recommend this wrench.

Nice smaller but still powerful impact. I like the fact that it came with two good batteries and in a hard case. I kind of like the belt hook but my son, who does more car work than I do at this point, says it would get in the way in the shop. It removes easily. I did a small test of the torque on the wheels of my Ram 1500. They are supposed to be torqued to 130 ft lbs. This impact would not budge the nuts at the first or second torque setting but removed them easily at the third setting – of 4. So it should have enough power for me.
