I’m pretty much committed to Milwaukee Fuel cordless tools by now. There are a lot of other brands and I’m sure many are just as good, but every Milwaukee M12 and M18 tool I own is awesome. Including this one. It’s not going to replace my 1000ft/lb IR impact – but it’s not meant to. I don’t do much wrenching these days, so dragging out the compressor, 100 ft hose and air tool oil is annoying. This battery powered driver covers all but the extreme cases I need an impact. Especially with my 9ah battery.Solid performer, great case, 5ah battery, and quick changer. Perfect for me

This impact set is packed with features. Its brushless motor offers smooth operation while increasing motor and battery life. The enormous 5 amp hour lithium batteries go a long time before needing to be recharged. This Milwaukee Tools impact set come with two of these lightweight long lasting batteries that also have built in charge indicators. Wow! I think its a great tool set to have for road trips or a day out at your favorite junk yard.

We live on a farm that has a lot of mesquite trees with a lot of thorns and we get a lot of flats. Normally I have to walk to the barn to get tools to change the tire for lack of space for compressor and impact tools in the bed. Since getting this cordless impact wrench I’ve been able to reach behind the seat to get it and be on my way in a matter of minutes. I also work on very old tractors with very large rusty nuts and bolts, this impact gun makes fast work of these too. It’s been three weeks since I got this tool and am still on the first battery and first charge. I highly recommend this tool

The M18 FUEL Mid-Torque Impact Wrench is another notch of excellence in Milwaukee’s product pole. My husband is thrilled. To test it, he used the tire on our car that had been put on with an air impact wrench. He pulled the trigger just once and the lug nut was in his hand! Imagine what a life saver it would be to change a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. It is battery operated so it can be done. My husband repairs antique tractors so he is looking forward to putting that 600 ft lbs of torque to work on those big rear tire lug nuts. The kit has it all and more: 2 batteries, multi voltage charger, belt clip and carrying case. My husband says, ‘ It is awesome”!!

First time used was to do a automatic transmission to manual transmission conversion. The M18 Mid Torch took care ov all motor mounts transmission bolts axel nuts and more no problem one charge with the 5.0 battery. And the LED light deffenatly is a great addition to the tool. Now I ordered it with the pin deton its hard to take of the socket so I just work around it. Purchased 1.27.18

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL impact wrench is powerful and durable. I’ve used Milwaukee tools most of my adult life and this impact wrench is another example of Milwaukee’s legendary quality. In the photos you’ll see that I used it to remove a stubborn water heater element and no problem it came out with ease. The handle fits the palm nice and the weight balance is very good. It comes with two lithium ion 18V batteries that are powerful and the charge long lasting. The LED light that shines on your work area is very nice for dimly lit spaces such as under the hood of your car. The forward/reverse switch is very smooth to operate and the lock position is the middle position. I’d definitely recommend the Milwaukee M18 impact wrench for the professional and the homeowner who does his own repairs.

Wow! It’s hard to find better words for this Milwaukee 1/2in cordless impact wrench (Model #2860-22). It feels great, balances well in the hand, has more than enough torque for my needs (rated as “mid level” torque of about 450-600 ft-lbs tightening/loosening) and seems to last a very long time. I built a deck and drove 20, 1/2”x5” lag screws and a dozen 1/2” concrete anchor bolts over 2 hours and the battery (a 5-Ah M18 lithium-ion unit) still showed a full charge. The powerful motor is a high-tech brushless model, which accounts for the light weight and low power consumption. The unit has 3 levels of speed/power, controlled by a small pushbutton at the base of the unit near the battery (see photo). In practice, I haven’t had to use either of the two higher power modes. The small LED light above the trigger provides bright lighting of the task area, and stays on for 10-15 seconds after the trigger is released. The trigger is smooth, but stiff enough to easily control the operating speed from slow to full power. The tool comes with a belt hook, but I find the unit too heavy to hang securely on my waist, although it fits the tape measure hook on my tool belt fairly nicely. The driver, charger, and two batteries fit securely into the molded plastic, heavy-duty case (see photo). The pin detent holds the sockets securely, but can be a bit tricky to engage. This is a top-notch tool made by an outstanding American company, and it’s price is justified by superb craftsmanship, flexibility and build quality. It’s another Milwaukee winner!
