Failed to remove the lug nuts on an overtorqued BMW and the reason for 4 stars. Only time it’s made me rethink not getting the high torque.. compliments my 3/8 m12 stubby well. Looking at the fuel right angle grinder next!

First time I used it was to rotate tires on GMC truck. The torque for the lugs is 140 lbs. It broke the lug nuts loose with ease. The snap ring is a a bit tight when trying to remove a socket but I suspect it will loosen with time.

This is a very good tool. I bought mostly for changing summer and winter tires. I use 1 setting to snug lug nuts up – then torque by hand – and 2 or 3 removes lugs easily and fast. This and the fuel impact driver are my favs.

I loved my High Torque impact so much I decided to get this Mid Torque Impact. It’s a ton lighter and quite a bit smaller but it’s still a beast. I have a feeling that this Mid Torque Impact will now get used 90% of the time and the High Torque will only get brought out when I really, really have to.

Power wise and durability so far it is really good but the button to chose the direction to drill is too loose and it is not designed to stick in place. When using it my fingers accidentally change the direction so i cannot hold the drill all the way, that is annoying.
