The power of the impact is great for driving lag bolts in a deck. Where my issue is with it is it doesn’t start impacting soon enough. It doesn’t start impacting till the screws are near there full tighten depth. I have an older version of this impact driver and it starts a lot sooner. Are all of these models like this or did I get a bad one?

I have been a fan of their tools for years. Just added this impact driver to my tool arsenal and I haven’t stopped using it. It’s very light and very powerful. Love the fact it came in a packout case.

I have used this a number of different occasions for both construction sites, and around the house with various wood projects. The tool seems to work great, and has lots of torque power in comparison to other name brand tools from other manufacturers. I think that Milwaukee has really stepped up their game with their wide range of M12 and M18 cordless. I will continue to purchase tools from.them due to their high quality and overall satisfaction.

As a general contractor I use this driver daily. I’ve had it for a little over two weeks and already did a metal roof and biting a deck with it. The power is unmatched in my Black and Yellow drivers. The size is amazing for getting in between joists and other tight places and the batteries run forever. Love this impact and will definitely recommend.

this is the best impact driver I have owned. The adjustable impact strength allowed me to drive 3″ screws for my dock and then i reduced it to drive the screws for the trim boards

Between installing cabinets at my day job and woodworking on the side, this driver gets put through a lot. I’ve owned drivers from other brands, but the M18 Fuel Impact Driver is by far the most powerful, versatile, and comfortable in the hand.

This impact really makes my work 50% easier. Working on flanges and exchangers with no hoses or cords is a plus.

Carpenter by trade, been using it every day. Good battery life, good power. Have used all four settings, each one has its place in the work place. Only issue is the trigger, roughly once every three days. I pull the trigger and nothing happens. I repeatedly will pull and release the trigger until it works.

Fast impact compared to the 10 year old one I had that was starting to slow down.

Retired auto mechanic Wish they had a tool like this years age. It would have made my job so much easier Sales told me of the power but was sceptical. First thing i did was to remove lug nuts. Im a believer. Will buy more Milwaukee tools soon.

I use this for diy projects and I don’t have a complaint about it. The power is just absolutely crazy.

First things first, size is not a limitation to the capabilities of this drill. However, to large of battery can make it feel unbalanced limits the usefulness of its compact size. I have yet to find a tool ouch that holds it and my 5.0 battery securely, but it hangs well off my harness with one of the Milwaukee lanyard. The ability to change power settings is great to. I can go from drilling Tap Cons, to installing a shelf. I can go from removing brake calipers to removing my dash.

My original 1-1/2 year old model 2357-20 had a faulty power forward/reverse switch. I sent it in for repair and Milwaukee replaced it with the latest version, model 2853. I have only used the new one once, but it works as it should. VERY HAPPY!
