The tool is a far stretch better than my first Milwaukee cordless drill. That was a 12v model back in 1993. I had gone yellow about 11 years ago. When it came time to replace those tools I looked at the broad range of Milwaukee tools that utilize the same design batteries and decided to go back to Team Red. So far I’m extremely pleased with that decision. Comfortable to use. Great battery life.

I have used the Milwaukee M18 impact driver (2656-20) for many years and it has been faithful all these years never once giving my a problem. I recently upgraded to the this fuel impact driver and I am very impressed with the size and power compared to my old impact. I read many reviews about problems people were having with the collet letting go of bits, but I have not had this issue for the several months I have had this FUEL impact driver. The compact size is great in tighter spaces and the ability to drive 6” lag screws with ease is awesome. Overall very happy with this impact driver!!
