This is my 3rd Milwaukee same model. The 1st two have had issues with the chuck not holding the bits. Also the impact will also stall for no reason while driving lags, or self tappers. I’m hoping the 3rd is a charm. The old impacts never had these issues!

Are you debating getting one of these? Really? Don’t debate, just do it! This is literally THE best quality and most useful tool that I have ever owned. This has plenty of power! I have built fences, animal housing, more fences, installed fans, replaced decking, docks, driven large diameter lag screws, and today I bought the converter and used it with my sockets for automotive work. Have you ever stripped a screw driving it in? Are you ready to never do that again? This is your tool.

This is simply a must have for any trade I am a plumber by trade and a carpenter by hobby and I use this impact both on and off of the job, and it handles both perfectly. I love the variable speed where if I am using it with drill bits I have a higher speed setting and if I am using it on a fastener on wood I have a slower speed so I don’t split the wood. The ergonomics on this impact are so good that this feels like it was made just for my hands. It’s so light and small that I can carry it around my belt and it’s not a burden and it’s small enough to get into tiny spaces but doesn’t lack any power. This impact does pack a punch I’ve pulled lug nuts off of cars with just this tiny impact and it’s durable as well, I’ve dropped it from multiple ladders and it’s never let me down. This really is the best bet if you’re looking for a new impact driver.

Excellent driver. Selectable power settings make this a much more user friendly tool. VERY powerful so don’t use cheap/trash adapters if using this for sockets. It WILL break them. This actually came before promised so kudos to HD.
