After researching the best drywall guns, I settled on the Milwaukee due to the auto start feature which saves battery life and its ease of use. This is a quality product and works as it should. Note!!! If you are unfamiliar with the use of this or similar tools, read the directions thoroughly. Even then, the directions leave out some keep points. When adding the screw gun attachment, you MUST remove the nose cone, the small bit and the bit holder prior to installing the long extended bit needed to set screws. I know, sounds obvious if you know what you are looking at. Just pull hard on the nose cone but you will need a pair of pliers to remove the bit and bit holder because they are really in there good and have some lubricant coating on them. Try and find a video on line of a review before using your tool, they help. Make sure you note the size screws you are using and set the adjustment on your gun to match. Hope this helps. What an excellent example of a great tool. I previously owned the dewalt equivalent, and you had to pull the trigger and lock it and then listen to the motor run and kill the battery the entire time. The Milwaukee has a setting that the motor doesn’t start until you start screwing. Great tool

Works as good as the Dewalt or Makita at a better price, the clip that holds it on your belt is weak and breaks easily unlike the Makita has the silent mode like Makita and unlike Dewalt. Great value with two small batteries and a charger. I’m satisfied with it!

This is a really nice drywall screw gun for which you can find plenty of reviews online; so I’ll focus on this particular kit. The 2.0 Ah batteries included use M18’s most compact/lightweight form factor and will provide ample runtime with the screw gun; so if you do not absolutely require the longer runtime (and additional heft) of XC batteries, this kit is a pretty good value.The included charger accommodates both M18 and M12 batteries, which is a pretty handy thing if (like me) you already have a few (or a lot) of M12 tools. Note that the charger does not do parallel charging of M18 and M12 batteries; but, if two batteries are plugged in, it will automatically cut over to charging the M12 battery after the M18 one is fully charged.
