We just picked up 2 for use on Track Maintenance and are ordering 2 more.Works quite well for tightening track bolts (1 1/18 coarse thread with nylock nuts) to refusal (over 1,000 lb-ft)And is able to sink 14″x1/2″ lag screws through Hemlock.Haven’t even had to put the side handle on since the impact frequency is fast enough that it’s not needed.So much nicer than hydraulic impact (25+ lbs and hoses)

I’m a heavy diesel mechanic and this gun is my new go to, pulls yokes no prob, super singles no problem over torquing tires is now an issues however, have to turn the gun down to 3 and it still hits 500 ft lbs all day. Only issue is the side handle doesn’t stay put would be nice to get some notchs in it.

I bought this impact for taking lugs off my dump truck that the half inch (2767) won’t take off. This thing will remove everything I’ve put in front of it. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it struggled when I was taking off 2-3 lugs off the lift axle but it did the job. I like the tool but for a 1 inch impact it should have not struggled as much as it did. However the one inch air impact that was used to put the tires on has 1700 lbs fastening and the lugs were a little rusty. Overall good tool but needs a little more power

I work on AG tractors. I was disappointed at first with this impact. I was using a 5.0 battery, the 12.0 battery makes a world of difference of the torque output of this impact. I use it to break wheel hubs lose on tractors and it does a good job. Not as strong as my 1″ air impact, but it is so much easier and lighter to use. I would recomend if you get this impact get the 12.0 battery and you wont be sorry.

I TAKE OFF AND PUT ON SEMI TRUCK TIRES AND WHEELS AND IT WORKS GREAT. YOU PEOPLE COMPLAINING THAT IT DOESN’T WORK THAT GOOD READ THE REVIEWS ON EVERYONE THAT’S USING IT THE M18 BATTERY 12AH THIS IS A MUST FOR THIS IMPACT FOR POWER THE LOWER AMP BATTERIES DON’T HAVE THE POWER. SO UPGRADE TO THE 12AH BATTERY AND YOU’LL SEE A BIG DIFFERENCE . NEXT MONTH I AM BUYING MY SON ONE.

Exelent but you have to use the 6 amp battery and up to get the best torque out of it. Because only with the 6 amp bat i was able to brake a yoke nut loose on a 18 weeller.

In the real world only takes off 600 lb or less barely & on 450 lb semi lug nuts were new studs n nuts so no rust verified by a snap on torgue wrench anything else great tool just not enough for my application

I work on heavy trucks, trailers, and jiff locks. I bought this specifically for tires and U-Bolts, and this thing gets the job done. It’s much faster that I don’t have to find the shop’s impact, hope it’s working, drag around an air line, and is much lighter. The only thing I don’t like about this is I would like to set a specific torque value to it.

The 1” Milwaukee Cordless Impact gun did not work as hard as I was expecting, although I still rate it at 3.9 stars given the weight loss and other added features. The overall power was just not there, and honestly I think my 1/2” cordless milawakee can compete just fine with the 1” and it really shouldn’t be able to come close. I think that installing a 1” anvil was an advertisement tactic to receive more hype at its initial birth. Like I said though , it is still a good tool because it is still high in its class of competitors, and for its mere size, or lack there of. MY OVERALL RATING- 3.4 STARS

This Milwaukee 1″ Impact Driver is a serious tool for serious, heavy duty work. I’ve had a chance to look it over and I’m impressed. I chose this because I thought it might be the right tool for my tractor. It may actually be too much! This Milwaukee impact driver is solidly built and offers a monstrous amount of torque for tightening large nuts/bolts…1500 lb/ft. Even more for busting nuts/bolts loose…1800 lb/ft! That’s just an incredible amount of power for a battery operated tool. When you hold it and pull the trigger you can feel the torque as the tool rotates about 20 degrees in your hand. There is a small light that may or may not help in dark situations. It’s not the brightest to be honest. Far more useful is the side handle that can be rotated a full 270°. Along with the rubber over-molded grip it provides comfort and excellent control of the tool. The kit comes with a charger and 2 batteries. Both of my batteries arrived fully charged. The charger apparently charges other style Milwaukee batteries in addition to the M18 batteries included. I don’t have other Milwaukee tools so I’m not sure which ones. This isn’t a lightweight tool at almost 12 pounds (with battery installed) but it’s far lighter than an equivalent pneumatic tool. Plus there are no cords or air lines to get in the way. The convenient lanyard ring on top of the tool is great for securing the tool or lifting/lowering it to the work area. The fit and finish on this tool is first rate. Everything is solid and it feels very well built. Everything fits nicely into the included canvas carry bag. The driver is “One Key” compatible. I haven’t used, nor do I need, this management app. But I can see where it might be handy for a company that has a lot invested in these tools to track them. I drive a truck and there are a few bolts that attach a tank to the frame that can be problematic with working themselves loose. I’m looking forward to using this driver to easily tighten these bolts when needed. It should prove a lot easier and far more effective than the 1/2″ socket drive I’ve been using.This is not a hobbyist tool. It’s built for very heavy duty applications so it’s not for the average home user. But, if you need a heavy duty 1″ impact driver you can take anywhere without having to worry about a compressor or an electrical outlet, this is the tool you need.

I recently purchased this impact for use of taking the lug nuts off of my dump truck with 46k axles so far it’s been great and has taken off every lug nut I used it on. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because it struggled a few times but with be 2-3 lugs but it did remove them I think if it had just a little more power than this tool would have been 5 stars however to be fair the impact that was used to put the be lugs on has 2500lbs nut busting and 1700 fastening with a 30 gallon gas powered compressor to run it overall a great tool but needs a little more power
