This is not a daily use item for me. I need it 3-4 times per week for usually about 10 minutes at a time. I have withheld a 5th star because I simply have not had the product long enough to be confident in a 5 star rating. The “onekey” function is very nice for adjusting torque output on the fly (the sceptic in me is nervous about long term functionality, hence no 5th star yet). Overall I am currently very pleased with my purchase.Tasks performed with it to date included rotary cutter blade bolt removal/installation, combine/tractor wheel hardware removal/installation, 3pt hitch implement lift pin removal/installation (when they’ve been on the implement for 20 years they are a b%$#@).

This Milwaukee 1” D Handle high torque impact wrench kit includes the impact wrench, a handy carrying case with detachable strap for carrying, two 12 ampere heavy duty batteries, and a charger, as well as an operator’s manual for the impact wrench and the charger. This weighs 21 pounds so Milwaukee designed very good grip areas so you can hold this tool effectively in both the side handle on the body and the rear D ring (see pictures). A gloved hand fits easily in the rear D ring, just as you would expect with this heavy duty tool. It has an awesome amount of power, with a torque rating of up to 2,000 foot pounds! Milwaukee included three LED lights in the front of the tool so working in a basement or other low-light area will not be a problem (see picture – bright!). You can even program the duration of time the lights will stay on, so that is a useful feature. Providing the two 12 ampere heavy duty batteries in this kit should really give you all-day use and more. However, with the included charger, you can just plug in the first battery to charge, and it will be ready for you when you have used up the second battery. I cannot imagine you would have any down time thanks to this two-battery with charger being included. This is a high value tool, so Milwaukee has incorporated a tracking, inventory, and use system they call One Key, and it allows you to track the tool! Set up was easy, just downloading the App. This is the next level in tool management! This is yet another high-quality tool from Milwaukee! I highly recommend it!

From time-to-time there are tools that hit our shop that you just say, “WOW!” This tool has so much potential for our Ranch and repair facility. Also, when we have a machine go down out in pasture or while working ground, the flexibility this tool has leaves our men on site speechless. Let me write to you all a perfect example. As I write this, we have been hit with several days in a row of moderate rain and heavy rains just a week ago. Two machines went down two days in a row. In the past we would drive our field truck as close as possible before getting stuck just so we could fire up the onboard compressor. Linking multiple air lines together for reach where we could get an air tool, usually an impact, connected to perform work. Now, here comes our Milwaukee M18 1” Impact! With this tool, so many steps are eliminated. Service truck carrying a compressor isn’t required, no hoses to link or drag. Tripping hazard eliminated, servicing air tools & compressor just to name a few are the benefits of this truly cordless & airless tool. The One-Key is something too, I wanted to touch on. With the One-Key phone app, I can manage torque setting for repetitive work for example preventing over-torquing fasteners. This tool is extremely powerful and we do not want any of our hands to break any of our assets. I can also track this tool anywhere on our Ranch or service shop. Very well done Milwaukee!

I took some from bus wheels off with it, the short anvil makes it so i can only get the front off till i get an extension. Very powerful. Its about the some heavy weight as a older all metal IR. The 2 12ah batteries are great and the rapid charger takes no time to charge that big battery. This also has the one key feature.

First let me explain I’m a big Milwaukee Tools fan and I love this Impact Wrench. Second there are so many features you really need to read the Owners Manuals ( yes there are two, one for the Impact Wrench and one for the Charger and Batteries. The owners manual for the Impact Wrench is only 5 pages long but covers a lot of information that will help you make the most of this tool ( IE: One-Key, Setting modes (including max speed for forward and reverse, precision mode, trigger ramp-up, torque ranges). Note there is a button size cell battery in the wrench that controls One-Key. If all of a sudden One-Key is not working don’t think the culprit is the rechargeable battery but is most likely the button battery. Did you notice it came with a great bag and a shoulder strap for the bag. There are pockets on the bag to hold accessories which is a nice touch and keeps everything together.

I received my Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1 in. Impact Wrench with D-Handle. It was only the tool. I have a couple Milwaukee batteries and a charger. I didn’t have any 1″ drive sockets. I ordered a socket so I could try this new tool out. The tool is a little heavy but it has a ring to attach it to a cable or a rope. The impact wrench has a switch to set the speed and power you want. I tried it out on an old VW engine I have had for a while and could never remove the flywheel. I tried removing it before and broke a 1/2 breaker bar. With this Milwaukee 1″ impact it came right off without any trouble. It will be very handy around the shop loosening up fasteners that are stuck. This tool is an animal and is very powerful. I wish I had it years ago, it would have saved me a lot of time and heartache. You can’t go wrong with Milwaukee tools.

This tool is a high quality machine. When buying a tool you start with the quality, how much will you use it, will it do the job effectively, what’s it’s durability and the time it will last? All those things are what make me look at the Milwaukee tools, and this impact wrench fits the bill. It weighs 21 pounds but is non bulky to handle. The D handle is comfortable in your hand and the adjustable side handle allows you to move it to a comfortable position. It has a no load rpm 1200, and IPM of 1440! The LED lights on the front are a great added feature when getting into areas where bolts are and not alot of light. It has up to 2,000 ft- lbs. of nut busting torque., and 1900 ft. – lbs. of fastening torque. Which comes in very handy with rusted on bolts! Can handle up to 200 ( 1 1/4″) bolts per charge and fits all M-18 batteries. There are 4 modes of customizable control for speed, forward & reverse, including presets, and lock. When you release the trigger, it stops immediately, no twist of the wrist danger. It also has a free app that tracks your tool if it is lost or stolen, & locks and disables it remotely! I have always used air powered tools for this type of heavy duty work but found that using this impact wrench was like stepping out of the stone age. NO KIDDING! The control you have while using this tool is like no other! I’m sure if you are looking for or need a High quality impact tool in your line of work, you should give this tool a good look.. you will very glad you did!!

There hasn’t been anything like this before. This thing is a beast. The kit comes with the tool, of course, two High Output HD12.0ah batteries, a rapid charger and the bag to keep everything together and clean. Everybody that sees it says “wow” and they want to use it. No more hoses, power cords or a generator to deal with. That means a safer site, as there are no twisted, tangled drop cords or hoses to fight and trip over. All you’ll need is a charged battery and whatever sockets that you’ll need. You’re likely to have to upgrade your lanyard. This tool is right at 25lbs with the battery. You’ll want a properly rated shock absorbing lanyard, properly secured and not at full tension. Don’t use a rope, strap or chain. Protect your tool, yourself and those around you. This can provide up to 2000ft/lbs of loosening torque and up to 1900ft/lbs of tightening torque. The no load RPM is 0-1200, with IPN at 0-1440. Settings can be made using the ONE-KEY app, such as Max Speed, Bolt Removal, Precision Mode and Trigger Ramp-up. To select a mode, simply squeeze the trigger to turn on the tool and press the Mode Selector button to scroll through the different modes. Sliding the selector switch located near the rear handle allows you to select forward, reverse or locked. The forward slide handle is adjustable without using any tools. It can be quickly and easily re positioned to a more convenient position. This comes with three LEDs and the duration and brightness can be adjusted via the app. A tool reset option is also available, allowing you to reset the tool back to the factory defaults, when the Mode Selector Button is held for 5 seconds. If you work on heavy equipment or using large fasteners, nothing comes close to this. There’s no set-up or maintenance time, just grab it and go to work. This is a serious piece of equipment and it’s very impressive. Read the manual and learn how to use the tool properly for the most satisfaction.
