We have used air impacts for our main tire tool for truck tire repair for years. Purchased this new cordless impact and we are definitely impressed. No more hoses, fitting and waiting for the compressor to catch up. We purchased the bigger battery and did a truck and trailer without changing the battery. Torque was impressive and the impact is comfortable to operate.

In an underground mine, i use it to remove wheel when flat tire. With proper socket hit strong, nut busting really Really good, battery las long. Scoop wheel have up to 38 nut and tread are full of rust (crazy corrosive environment) 1 battery 1 wheel remove and install

Wow! Another great product by Milwaukee. They make quality products and this impact wrench is no exception. It is very well made, sturdy and heavy(twenty one pounds) and has a handle for hanging. I have used it so far to remove bolts from the bucket on my backhoe in order to remove it and put a different size bucket on the back. Despite being heavy it was easy to handle and made the job a breeze. I am also planning to use it to put nuts and bolts into a metal building I am planning to put up. This product does not include the battery but I already had one that came with a Milwaukee product I had previously ordered. It would be nice if one was included for those people who don’t already have one. It has a five year warranty.

Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1 in. Impact Wrench with D-Handle Kit with Two 12.0 Ah Batteries review: Wow! Milwaukee does it again! This powerful, heavy and well engineered Impact Wrench feels not only like a superb Milwaukee tool but also an engineered precision instrument ready to take on any bolt/nut combination. First, it is really heavy (good sign). I thought it would vibrate a lot but it operates like a precision instrument set to outperform expectations. Wow! The handle at the top front of the wrench is there to help hold up this powerful machine. It came with two (2) 12amp hour batteries and they are big and heavy also. It also came with a large bag and a rapid charger that can charge M18 and M12 batteries. When I charged the batteries, I charged one in the rapid charger and the other battery in a standard charger. The rapid charger charged the battery in one hour 40 minutes. The standard charger took at least 2.5 hours to charge and I fell asleep waiting. Two things I noticed about the rapid charger: It appears to have an internal fan to cool the battery down and after charging both the charger and battery were hot. The standard charger and other battery were only warm. As with all Milwaukee products, I am totally pleased! Milwaukee seems to get everything right. And by the way, their M18 batteries seem to run and last forever. There ya go!

Massive torque on demand. This is a long awaited tool for my collection of Milwaukee impacts. My everyday impact is the high torque 1/2 and is great for 90 percent of my jobs but sometimes you have to pull out the big guns. This impact is a roadside repairs dream. No more having to grab a 100ft hose and waiting for the compressor to fill. This baby is ready to go — just grab it and it’s ready for anything. Its large and heavy, but very well balanced. The handle is nice and large and easy for thick gloves to still be worn. It also has led lights, big plus for me — no air impact that I know of has that. I gave it a try busting some 41mm lug nuts and it’s child play for this impact. If you work on large trucks and equipment this is a must have and with the one key you can track it and do custom setting to fit your job. I could not be happier and like all my Milwaukee stuff it’s top quality and I’ve even drove 1/4 mile with a m12 compressor still screwed to my valve stem. I can laugh now as it only received minor scratches. You won’t regret the purchase Its a great investment, I have some jobs I could not think about doing AND now it’s going to be a breeze.

What a beast! I was considering buying the first 1″ impact Milwaukee released however I was worried about having not enough torque for semi truck tires but when I saw this thing come out I knew right away this is the perfect tool. The power is incredible I can easily remove any lug nut and somehow it seems quieter than an air powered impact. This thing may be expensive but it has completely eliminated the need for a large air compressor and hoses its worth every penny, no regrets whatsoever. My only gripe is I wish Milwaukee included a blow mold case for it so it doesn’t get banged up since it still has some plastic on it.

From time-to-time there are tools that hit our shop that you just say, “WOW!” This tool has so much potential for our Ranch and repair facility. Also, when we have a machine go down out in pasture or while working ground, the flexibility this tool has leaves our men on site speechless. Let me write to you all a perfect example. As I write this, we have been hit with several days in a row of moderate rain and heavy rains just a week ago. Two machines went down two days in a row. In the past we would drive our field truck as close as possible before getting stuck just so we could fire up the onboard compressor. Linking multiple air lines together for reach where we could get an air tool, usually an impact, connected to perform work. Now, here comes our Milwaukee M18 1” Impact! With this tool, so many steps are eliminated. Service truck carrying a compressor isn’t required, no hoses to link or drag. Tripping hazard eliminated, servicing air tools & compressor just to name a few are the benefits of this truly cordless & airless tool. The One-Key is something too, I wanted to touch on. With the One-Key phone app, I can manage torque setting for repetitive work for example preventing over-torquing fasteners. This tool is extremely powerful and we do not want any of our hands to break any of our assets. I can also track this tool anywhere on our Ranch or service shop. Very well done Milwaukee!

This thing is a BEAST! The air tool killer. The kit comes with with the tool, charger and two 18v 12.0 batteries and a very nice bad to keep it all in. The handle on top is adjustable and needed. This Is definitely a two handed tool! There is a ring on top to secure it to a cradle or harness if you wish. We ran it through its paces pulling lug nuts off everything from international dump trucks to our John Deere loaders and it did it all with ease. The build quality is typical Milwaukee so nothing to worry about there. Over all you have to use it to believe it.

This Milwaukee impact wrench specs out with a torque of 2,000 ft. lbs. There is no longer a need to drag around a compressor and hose as this tool is compatible with the Milwaukee M18 FUEL batteries. It includes a handle that may be repositioned or removed completely without tools.This is my first Milwaukee “ONE-KEY” compatible tool. There are a lot of features with the ONE-KEY app, including the ability to locate the tool, disable it, and many other useful features especially for medium to large companies to keep track of expensive tools. I downloaded the app and added this impact wrench to my ONE-KEY inventory. Some of the features of this impact wrench include 4-Mode Drive Control which permits control over power and speed; three LED Lights for workspace visibility; and protection against overheating and overload.

Use this on large stationary engines. Thing is a beast, runs right there with my 1” IR gun, but without the hose. Removed 96 1” bolts torqued to 650 ft lbs each, without missing a beat & only dropped a bar on the 12 amp battery.
