Ok, devoted milwaukee user going on 4 years now. I love MOST of their tools, however there are a few I would not but. The radio is not one of them. This is my opinion on the packout radio, lots of goods and a couple of not so goods. Pros. 1. Decent sound quality, fairly loud and can absolutely fill the room2. BASS FOR DAYS. I was very impressed by the amount of bass this thing can kick out. 3. It seems pretty durable. My stack has tipped over a few times in the van and the radio help up despite falling on the actual face of the radio. 4. Convenient with the packout system5. Water resistance seems solid. Obviously you wouldn’t want to submerge it, but I have been caught in the fl rain a few times with it. 6. Backlit screen is fairly easy to read7.simple user friendly interface8. Usb port, so it’s essentially a power bank9. Decent sized storage compartment. I can get my wallet, phone (on the charger) and my keys in there with room for a pack of smokes. Now the cons1. Way too heavy, this thing weighs more than most of my tools do2. I will agree with previous reviewers that a better equilizer would make a world of difference as far as value goes.3. Definitely not “beach ready” like they claim. Obviously they didn’t account for the sand jamming up the latch. It was fixable but frustrating. 4. Price tag is a bit steep, but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for most of the time. Other than that I really can’t think of anything else I don’t like. The packout radio is my most used tool I have. I run it all day every day on a 5.0 battery, and usually only have to charge it maybe twice a week. I would buy it again, and suggest it to a friend. Keep up the quality work milwaukee! Got a lifelong buyer out of me

My husband loves it. It was a gift for his birthday and I honestly wanted it as well. We took it camping first thing. The battery life was amazing and the sound filled the whole valley we were in. Plus he loves that it’s also a charger for his tool batteries while it’s plugged in.

I collected my Packout radio from Laughlin’s in Trinidad and Tobago on 26/09/20 after much anticipation. The ration is well built and has enough power to hold a party, I was pleasantly surprised with the base quality and the clean quality of the sound. I carried out a test with Bluetooth, and it was faultless, I also stood on the radio and it took my weight quite easily. This product surpasses my expectations with only a few area for improvement.Cons1. The radio needs a USB port by which you can play music from2. The EQ can do with more bands3. The battery to keep the presets should be a bit more accessible

Perfect for the guy on the go. Bass does distort some at full volume, but this sucker is loud. I also have the m18/m12 job site speaker, bought this and this is the loudest clearest radio on any job site. The 360 sound is amazing.

This was a gift for my husband. He took it back. Didn’t feel the speakers were that great. Purchased something else.

Have had my packout radio for two weeks and then charger and 110v plug will not work any more and the bluetooth keeps kicking out can only use with Aux and raido with a 18v milwaukee battery powering it. Love the sound it has and would be worth the price if it lasted longer.

Little heavy for having only one charging station but overall a nice unit.

Radio works great but very heavy and the antenna broke on the first day of use just from a bump.

Loud, lasts all day on one mid size battery 4-6ah. Bluetooth is super easy. No buyers remorse even with the big price tag

Overall good radio. Very big and heavy. Great to have a charger built in. Battery will easily last all day without plugging in. Sounds loud inside or in the right placement outside. Bass speaker on the back so place it next to something and get great reflex sound. Same as all radios in that when it’s charging, radio stations don’t come in clear. Bluetooth Doesnt travel 100 feet unless you’re in a directly wide open space. Through walls maybe 20 feet
