The M18 Fuel series is simply the best battery tool system I’ve ever used. I’ve never doubted Milwaukee tool quality but didn’t saw them as a stand out against their capable competitors until I took this drill on a remote 3 day job with no AC power available. The battery never faded and it plowed through everything I could put it through. The handles and weighting on both tools are nicely balanced. There’s no missing the solid feel of every component, including the batteries, charger, and case. They charge quickly, have astounding run time (my first 5 Ah cordless tools), and the torque is massive, especially for their size. The torque clutch works like a charm, although I wish it had better low RPM control for seating and flushing screws.The Wifi location feature is a nice addition, but not one that my small crew will likely ever need. We set it up anyway, just in case we leave it on a job site or in the wrong truck. My one wish is that all manufacturers would make their molded carry cases with a more universal interior so they carry accessories in addition to just the tool. We had to abandon this one and go to a soft case for practicality.

Love the one key technology, being able to track it is huge. Haven’t used the drill yet, but I’ve used the impact a fair bit, and have been leaving it at my friend’s auto repair garage and they’re blown away. I removed most of my bell housing bolts with it, and even use it to remove lugs. Don’t know if it’ll get em on tight enough yet, need to find out. My complaint is that it didn’t come in a packout case. The most expensive of that type of set should’ve come with a packout case. Plus that’d help y’all sell em, “hey honey, this already works with it, I might as well get the rest of the setup to use it”. Caution, breaks normal socket adapter bits, broke 2 within a week. We just picked up a Milwaukee bit hoping it’ll hold up. Picture attached is the second bit. Note how twisted it is.

This is a very nice drill/impact driver combo kit. I wear a size large glove and this fit perfectly in my hand. The balance is pretty good too with a slight bias toward the front, which if they aren’t going to be perfectly balanced is the way I prefer them. They are quite compact. So much so that I was concerned that they wouldn’t be powerful enough to drive any substantial fastener. I had no issue driving 3” deck screws or a 3/8” lag bolt into a pressure treated 4”x4”. The batteries are pretty big compared to the impact driver. You may need to adjust your angle of attack if the space is snug. On that note, the LED light on the drivers works well in poorly lit spaces. The case is large. But, it is molded to hold both drivers, batteries and the charger. And they all fit nicely. It is an efficient use of space. The plus is that I don’t have to remember to grab a charger when I head out. Some of my other tools didn’t come with a molded case and the charger doesn’t really fit with them when transported, so I keep them separated. That’s come back to bite me. That won’t be an issue with this setup.

I purchased this combo kit during a promotion to get a free fuel sawzall when you purchased the kit, got to the job site and charged a battery and got to use it, I love it, it has great power and feels much better then the other tools that I used before, I also went home and downloaded the Milwaukee one key app on my phone so I can customize my drills to the task at hand, got to say I’m impressed with the app and how useful it is, if you are considering buying this, its a great buy.

I thought the Milwaukee Gen3 impact/drill was already perfect, but now that they added the One-Key option to them, they are hands down the best buy you can make today. Firstly, the power that these tools have are absolutely insane. I have used every new drill/impact on the market today, and nothing comes close to the power and build quality that these have. Driving lags, screws and lugs is impressive, but blasting through concrete with the hammer drill is just insane. The speed that these tools have are nuts, and the torque while sinking 1-1/2 paddle bits is just mind blowing As for build, these guns will last forever. I have beaten these down just to see how far I could push them, and they just won’t stop.Not only are these the most powerful beasts on the market, they are also much smaller than most of the others. Extremely light weight and comfortable in the hands, they allow you to get into tighter areas than the larger guns will. The over mold is also slip resistant, and just feels great.Some of my favorite features (other than pure power) is the safety overdrive on the drill. It will prevent you from ripping your arm off if the bit gets stuck, and One-Key functions are amazing. The one-key has all the same features as it did before sushi as location, information indicators, last seen etc. But a cool new feature now allows you to fence in your tools right from the app. If the tools go outside the designated area, the app will alert you.Not only are these tools brutally powerful, but they are smart. Brains and bronze is not something you always see in a tool, but this is pure professional grade right here, and you even get two 5Ah batteries and a hard case… they just can’t be beat

I am a power pole tester, we use the hammer drill to bore out holes in the poles that are 3/4 inch by 18 inches deep at 4 holes per pole.We do 50 plus poles each day, before getting my Milwaukee, I used a gas powered drill, the Milwaukee clearly out performs the bt75 that I no longer use.
