Strong amd light weight drills with exceptional batteries (would prefer 12.0 HD obviously) but performs great and love the onekey. I got lucky getting this set on sale for 220$ the milwaukee rep at HD said it was the last one

the m18 fuel driil set is spectacular. the power the drill has is amazing. what ever i trow at it, weather it hammer drilling tapcons or drill through steel for bolt holes it ate it up like nothing. the power to weight ratio is great. it’s not a drill that will feel like a ton of bricks by the days end. The 5 amp batteries give it a amazing run time, you dont feel like you’re walking back and forth to the charger every few minutes. The impact driver i have yet been able to throw something at it that it can’t do. The balance of it is great, it doesn’t feel awkward at all and drive small lags into lvl’s with no sweat

This is one of Milwaukee’s newest combination hammer drill and impact driver set. The kit is supplied with two XC5.0 RedLithium batteries, charger and hard shell carrying case. There are some wonderful features that I found worked really well. This is part of the Fuel series which delivers more power in a more compact at faster speeds. Both the drill and the impact driver have a very nice balanced feel while being held. The 5Ah batteries do add a bit of heft to the them but the run time is incredible. As a DYI person working on projects I have yet to run out of battery juice while working on an all day project. The batteries have LED fuel meters that allow you to monitor the amount of battery charge available. Located just near the base and just above the battery is the mode selector that allows you to select the speed and pair with the One Key system. This system uses Bluetooth to sync to your smartphone with the Milwaukee app which allows you to set various profiles on your tools that are appropriate for the material you’re working with. In addition One Key it allows you to track your tools and even disable them if they are lost or stolen. Some pretty cool stuff that merges powerful compact cordless tools with the latest technology available. This Milwaukee combo kit is backed by a Five Year Warranty on these tools and a Three Year Warranty on the batteries.

I bout this product arpund 8 or so months ago and have been using tbese two drills to remodel a house, and through out this whole process i can count on one hand the number of times ive used one key. If yoy were to do the same task over and over esch day like install metal roofs, i could understand using one key and adjusting the settings to match the specs of your screw. Overall though, i didnt use it much. Even when i did, it was a hassle to have to get my phone out during a job and adjust the setting on it if something was off, or even just setting it to what i want. While there is 4 open spots to preset certain settings, when you do that you throw your variable speed out tbe window. The default settung for the one key impact driver is basically speeds from 1-4, but as you fill those spots, you lose each speed. If i had known that this is how the impact driver would be, i would not have bought this. The drill is nice too, but the only times i can see myself using one key on it is when im repeatadly drilling the same holes, or when i need to mix a bucket of something without goung over a certain number of RPMs. I hate to say it, but i do believe that most of the characteristics of one key can be accomolished by someone that can run the trigger on the drills good, ie start slower to get the screw started, then faster, etc. Both are still excellent products though, and like i said if you do repeated work over and over, you may actuall have an appreciation for the one key settings. I myself would have much rather bough the Surge impact driver

I am very impressed with this drill and impact driver set I use them on a daily basis I do a lot of remodel and maintenance work so I constantly use cordless tools this M18 Lithium-Ion kit is the best I have ever used they are powerful and as you know there is nothing worse than being in the middle of something and you have dead batteries you will not with these they do last longer than the others I own

In my opinion this is the best hammer drill/impact set on the market. At first I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to understand one key but the kit has instructions that helped me out setting it up. And that feature is true innovation. I can literally set the drill or impact perfectly to any application through my phone. I can also lock it, track it and just so much info. The drill and impact are so compact but can pack a serious punch for any tough job are definitely heavy duty. Battery life is awesome. It comes with two 5ah and they last all day. Using it in a remodel for all types of jobs from drilling holes in wood, concrete , driving down lags for a patio, electrical, and a lot more and had zero issues and no down time waiting for batteries to charge since battery life is so good . Exceeded my expectations. The case is nice and made of tough plastic. I wish it would’ve came with the rapid charger since it is the top of the chain for drill sets. But the one it has is good. I’ve used and owned quite a few other brands but this is definitely the most compact and most powerful with the best features. Would recommend to anyone.

These are the first Milwaukee tools I have owned. The hammer drill was somewhat noisey when I first started using it, but it quieted down after drilling a few holes in wood. I used the hammer drill for drilling with a hole saw. It did seem to lack power using a 2.25 inch hole saw. Normal drilling it works fine. The impact driver works well. I have used it to drive 3″ screws. I do recommend using quality driver tips due to the power of the impact driver. The batteries charged quickly and seem to have an extended use or longer lasting charge than most other battery tools. The batteries also have a scale that shows remaining charge. They are blue tooth and when setup to a smart phone can be tracked. Milwaukee also developed a method to install a blue tooth fence where to want your tools to be retained in. Keeps your tools safe from theft. The battery does make each tool a bit heavy, but manageable.
