The POWERSTATE brushless motor provides cutting power that has only been associated with corded tools. Very Good Tools if you need Speed & Power the Drills will Give that too You. as of now my only problem with Them is the Price. and you may have a problem with gen 3 impact driver which is the collar on it may not hold the bits in and just come out. I have not Experience this issues myself though.

So I ended up exchanging these for a different set with more tools, but man do these guys rip. I finally burned up my old drill of big yellow stature and decided to make a move to the red side. I must say I will likely never go back, even accounting for the age of my previous dewalt set. These guys tear thru double stacked 2x4s with a 1″ auger bit with zero hesitation. I actually have to brace myself or it’ll twist my wrist. So far battery life has been well, even in sub freezing weather(I do take my batteries inside at night). You can typically find these sets on sale with more tools or extra batteries throughout the year so I would suggest waiting and shopping around(Home Depot will price match), but man are these about the best buy I have made in a while. These get used daily as I do remodels and renovations. I will add, they are on the heavier side with the larger batteries, but it’s to be expected with the size of these motors in addition. I have the 7 1/4 fuel circular saw and it is a tank as well.
