This is a good kit and the 5ah batteries last a while.

Automotive tech here, I use both of these all day for about 2 months with no issues. Batteries last forever, both the drill and impact diver are extremely powerful. The belt clip and bit holder are nice touches too.

So I ended up exchanging these for a different set with more tools, but man do these guys rip. I finally burned up my old drill of big yellow stature and decided to make a move to the red side. I must say I will likely never go back, even accounting for the age of my previous dewalt set. These guys tear thru double stacked 2x4s with a 1″ auger bit with zero hesitation. I actually have to brace myself or it’ll twist my wrist. So far battery life has been well, even in sub freezing weather(I do take my batteries inside at night). You can typically find these sets on sale with more tools or extra batteries throughout the year so I would suggest waiting and shopping around(Home Depot will price match), but man are these about the best buy I have made in a while. These get used daily as I do remodels and renovations. I will add, they are on the heavier side with the larger batteries, but it’s to be expected with the size of these motors in addition. I have the 7 1/4 fuel circular saw and it is a tank as well.

These are without a doubt, hands down, the best drill and drover I have ever used. I see in some reviews some folks got some faulty drills. Not the case for me. Ive had mine a couple of years and use them daily in a professional setting. The torque on the driver is unparalled. In some instances I even use it with a good bit to drill through stainless steel. And the hammer drill, an absolute monster, I drill into concrete and brick constantly and with ease. The 5 amp batteries provide plenty of life, I can get through a full work day, sometimes two on one charge.

over the course of the last year I have been slowly replacing all of my Makita tools with Milwaukee either M18 or M12 tools. I purchased this set back in December. The drill works great, as expected. But I’m now starting to have problems with the impact. when I squeeze the trigger on the impact there are times it does nothing. I have to completely let it go then it will start working. I thought it was a fluke thing because it would only happen maybe once a day? Now it is starting to happen a lot more frequently. I love the speed and power of the impact. I don’t know if this is a common thing? I would’ve thought for this kind of money with his issues less than a month after purchasing it.

This was a good buy with three tools in the set. Fuel ¼ “ impact drive is a must have for most any kind of project, with the variable setting for impact it was a life saver while building a deck. They even have a setting for self tapping sheet metal screws. This is a five star tool. The free sawzall is a beast when cutting material that you need to get cut quickly and efficiently, great battery life and it won’t beat you up doing the work, another five star tool. Then we have the ½” drill – hammer drill. Works great for wood and metal applications, clutch and chuck work pretty well, then when the time come to set a few tapcon anchors we have problems. Hammer drill ?? When does the hammering start ?? Tried to use it for two different size anchors but it barely scratched the surface of the cement. Tried using the selector ring to make sure it was on the hammer mode, let two of my friends try to get the job done and Ins broken bit later we enlisted a Dewalt cordless ½” to get the anchor holes drilled. It was very quick and never used up the battery to complete fifteen holes. Milwaukee ½ “ hammer drill FAIL….!Overall these tools are great and I would recommend them. If I had to make this purchase again I leave out the “ hammer drill “

Milwaukee is always a good choice. I’ve used the brand for twenty years at work and it has never failed me.

Got this combo kit at a great price compared to individual purchases. The 1/2″ drive with 1400lbs of knuckle busting Torque makes changing tires a breeze. I bring it camping to switch from sand dune tires to mtn tires on my rzr. Works great.
