this dril is awesome, you can even take the right angle part off and use it as a big heavy duty D – handle drill. you most definatly get what you pay for, and i think this drill will last a long time.

I bought this drill drill because my brother in law had my fathers Milwaukee drill. That one has been around since at least 1983. I wish I could have given it five stars but I am not sure that this made in China version will last as long.

One of the best tools ever

Retaining bolt for chuck broke after a few uses and chuck spun off. Retaining bolt seems woefully underengineered for such a powerful drill.

I own three – two are broke, there is a problem in the right angle gear but I like the drill. Warranty did take care of the problem one time.

I don’t know how I lived without this for so long. I’ve recently started to remodel my kitchen and needed to drill between wall studs (like I’ve struggled with so many times before) So, I bought this Milwakee.I’ve used it in so many places I couldn’t imagine doing another renovation without it. The quality is top notch. I’m more than happy with this drill. The price may be a little high but, once you use it, you’ll feel itr’s worth evry penny.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He had an older one (about 20 years) which broke before his birthday…(how convenient!!)…Great drill for the money…He says it works just as well as the older one. Hopefully this one will last just as long…

good torque for drilling in older wood. This helps it from the motor burning out

The Milwaukee model 1707-6 is an excellent value, and very durable. When I purchased it at The Home Depot store on Eastwood Road, Wilmington, NC on 17 May 2018, I was aware as to how good a tool it was after I had spoken to a technical rep from Milwaukee Tool over the phone on 16 May 2018.

Excellent tool, bought a cheaper one first and it didn’t last making one cut. This drill is a nice solid working tool. I’m very pleased.

This is one of the best right-angle drills I have used. I mainly needed a drill for running new electrical cable and some of the applications I am drilling in are at odd angles or depths. This drill allows me to index the chuck 360 degrees so you can get in the best position to apply force. I had several support beams and posts that couldn’t be accessed from an open area, I was drilling in a joist bay up against the foundation. I would have had to use any other right-angle drill with a hold that may have allowed the drill to possibly not drill straight or could cause me to slip. With this I was able to adjust the head and get a series of bits from short to long that allowed me to drill in a more comfortable and controlled manner. There is also an extension and 33 degree drive head available separately from Milwaukee that will make this tool even more versatile.

Excellent quality and a tool that will last a very long time. I began using Milwaukee drills in 1976 and they have remained as the best power tool available for industry and personal use.

This is a highly desirable drill for many tasks, but fantastic for decking. It is a heavy duty drill, and very durable. The weight may seem to be a disadvantage, until you experience the ease with which it holds and drives long decking screws without jumping out of the screw head. I just fit and place, then let the tools weight do the work of applying downward pressure. Excellent torque.

love it has power we need to drill Holes and gives us more room for getting into tight places. would recommend this product to every one

This drill is heavy duty! I have used auger and selfeed bits and this drill will take anything you throw at it. Use the side handle for extra support and hold on. The only down side to this tool is it’s weight, but the power makes up for it.
