These are the best pruning blades that I have used of all those available at Home Depot and Lowe’s. The blade steel is strong enough to cut through thick wood without flexing. Yet the narrower width (from the teeth to the back of the blade) as well as the “point slip angles” of the teeth are designed so the blade is less likely to bind as it cuts through a thick branch that collapses behind it.

Blade became dull way too fast working on a tree stump. I had to replace it twice. The job became too laborious. I had a better expirence with Diablo blades.

I use these blades primarily for pruning tree branches, however out of curiosity I did successfully completedly removed a 60 year old Silver Maple tree with a base stump of about 65 inches in diameter. Used an entire package of five blades. No chainsaws used. No trace of the tree left.

They are the best blades for trimming trees, I’m have no idea why they stopped carrying them in the store, They replaced them with one that is made for lumber not trees and its useless
