This is the best blade I have for cutting thick pieces of wood and though it will cut through nails this dulls it much quicker. I had to cut through a very thick counter top and after removing the tile and cement layers I used these blades to cut through the nail embedded 2×4 end wise and one inch oak nailed to it. This a lot to ask from any blade but these guys did it. I bought six and went through four of them cutting about five linear feet of this combo of wood with a lot of nails both horizontally and vertically which caused several nails to be sliced through lengthwise. After two of these lengthwise nails your wood burning and no longer cutting. I went through at least 10 bimetallic blades before heading to Home Depot to pick these up and they way better and did get the job done which is the only thing that matters in the end. So they do what they claim and iwill buy them again but if you have a lot of large nails to cut through do yourself a favor and buy several unless you like stopping in the middle of the job to go back to Home Depot

This blade was excellent: demo, pruning of trees, and rough cuts have all been amazing. At least 5 hrs. of operation and no dullness.

Performed as advertised.. cut thru wood and nails with no problem. Very durable and still sharp after removing 10 stockade fence panels with nails.

Good durable blade, doesn’t cut as fast as I thought it would.

Well worth the money and investment. I used these blades to cut through rusted control arm bolts and bushings. These bolts were welded to the bushings and would not move. I made four cuts and I used two blades but probably could have done it with one. I think the key to these blades will be keeping them cool. I took my time, making short duration cuts and sprayed the blade with WD40 to keep it cool while working. You won’t be disappointed.

They work very well. I only had one out of the five blades I ordered broke at the tang.

I bought these blades for cutting cast iron sewer pipe. They cut right through it easily and last for several cuts before needing replacement. While these blades will fit any reciprocating saw, cutting cast iron requires a high power professional model.
