Fantastic!! I’ve used this pruning blade to cut manzanita, and trees up to 6 inch diameter. Used with the M12 Hackzall with the base battery (4 amp-hour) ran 30 min on a charge. And with the 6 Amp-Hour battery, I’ve run 1.5 hours with charge left. Blade still seems sharp after 4 hours of cutting.

To start with, this Milwaukee 12″ blade is advertised as a pruning blade. Well, I just put it to the test. It not only easily cut small branches, it made easy work of taking down a good size dead palm tree. I normally would have used my chain saw, but it was uncooperative and would not start. Wife said the dead tree had to go before the Christmas lights went up. I used the blade in my cordless sawzall and it did the job without a lot of effort, all with the same battery. In the future I will be using this blade and the sawzall a lot more.

The Milwaukee 9 inch carbide sawzall blade exceeded my expectations and make quick work of my last yard project for the season. A few summers ago I had 3 mature trees (Spruce and 2 cedars) taken down and was left with I unsightly stumps and huge roots that that started to effect my fence. I attached this blade to my Ryobi reciprocating saw and went to work. The blade can go into the earth and easily severed the roots. I was concerned the most with the old cedars, but the blade easily made the cuts.

I like this saw blade. It cuts through branches really easily, and has plenty of length to cut just about anything I want to with it. While the length of this blade is a benefit, it can also get in the way of things. One potential use case for the recip blade would be to cut roots, but with the longer blade, I found it difficult to avoid getting the blade in the dirt. Milwaukee does make this blade in slightly shorter variants, though, and even after getting the blade a bit dirty, it still was sharp to the touch. One thing with a long blade that I would worry about is potential flex/bending of the blade. I found it to be very sturdy, though; I was not worried it would get caught and bend at all. While I did not attempt to cut an 11-12″ tree with this so far, I’m very satisfied with this saw blade and the results I’ve seen so far. It can cut through a 3-4″ branch in very short order using my little Ryobi 18v recip saw.

First off let me say that I changed the 6″ one for a 9″ one because I had to go deep into the ground to cut a Robelini stump out. Cuts really aggressive, made easy work of it.

I have owned both Sawzall saw and Chain Saw for many years and always used a chain saw to cut down branches. I saw my neighbor using a Sawzall reciprocating saw for cutting big branches and it looked easy to cut .So I decided to try this blade for my sons back yard. He bought a house in August and wanted to clean his back yard of branches going all over. It was so much easier and lighter to use a sawzall. I decided to use both and it made my job so much easier. I recommend this blade.
