Best blade I’ve used. Had to cut through entire ceiling of plaster with metal wiring. Well worth the money spent. Most durable blade I used.

Works really good in old house demo work. The blade gums up when cutting a tree stump with chain link fence embedded in the stump.

Used to cut up a hot tub. Granted , mixed surfaces being cut from fiberglass to plumbing and wood . Although it still has teeth and the blade is thicker to prevent warpage as fast I feel a standard blade would have lasted just as long when it comes to the sharpness of the blade

Blade works well. I cut several pieces of cast iron with it and it’s still good. I did cool the blade a few times using water which is key to keeping the blade cool. As we know heat is Bad.. !!Bad heat.. Cool good..!!

These Reciprocating Saw Blades are fantastic … they make quick work even cutting the toughest materials and are durable. There’s a lot of info on the packaging some of which is difficult to see (Photo #1 and #2); the highlights 6″, 6 tpi (aggressive cutting), carbide teeth (long life, 50X vs bimetal), and for use on multiple materials (wood w/ nails, PVC, plaster, and metal), and American Made! They’re part of what I consider a “family” of blades shown in Photo #3; a close look at the blades shows the characteristics of each and in some instances only a single use … if in need of any blade from the “family”, examine the package closely to ensure proper selection.I would recommend this product.

This works as you would expect. The long length is very useful for certain projects. It allows you to cut into a deeper space if necessary. The long length also makes it easier to bend the blade a bit sideways to fit into difficult/tight places and to cut along the edge of an item efficiently. The front tooth design is supposed to make it easier to do a plunge cut. I’ve not tried that yet. It is too early to tell whether the teeth will last longer than a typical blade. Whether the last two things work out or not, I found the long length of the blade to be useful.

This Milwaukee 6″ 6 Teeth Per Inch THE WRECKER™ with Carbide Teeth SAWZALL® Blade claims to last 50 times longer than a normal blade. I do not have the means to test this claim, but the blade does seem to be tough. In my video, I cut through a 2X2 (nominal) pine board with an electrical staple embedded in it. The blade did not ‘buck’ when I hit the staple. One of my photos shows the blade after this cutting operation. Some of the paint has been removed (as would be expected), but I saw no evidence of damage to the teeth. I would expect this blade to resist a lot of abuse in a wrecking or demolition operation. The blade’s gullets are not very deep, but I felt no binding of the sawdust. (If I was still a member of my fire department, I would like to have tested this blade on cutting windshields in a rescue scenario, although normally a 10-14 TPI blade would be suggested.) The blade is thin enough to deflect slightly if you were to force a flush cut, but I don’t foresee it bending easily unless you really pushed it at an obtuse angle. Time will tell if the Milwaukee WRECKER blade lasts 50 times longer than a normal blade, but at the price point it is worth trying.

I bought two different kinds of blades but the wrecker was far better cutting both woods and metal

This blade came in real handy for cutting branches off the heavier trees . It seems to be a very smooth cutting blade . I used it to cut branches down and to cut them up before chipping them. I used a couple of Ryobi reciprocating saws and didn’t have any problems. It’s very nice to have a great product that works well . Even for a bigger project, it’s very sturdy.

Very durable & aggressive cutting.DEFINITELY will buy more.

Nice saw blade ! Works easily with my ryobi reciprocating saw . It cuts nicely. Easy to use . I used this blade and several others to compare them . The Milwaukee blade was a cleaner cutting blade . The branches were about 4 inches thick . I will be using the wrecker to cut off some more branches soon . I will definitely have to keep a couple in my tool chest.

What a beast. These blades will not let you down. For demo work that calls for, well, wrecking stuff, the Milwaukee Wrecker Sawzall blades will do the job! This blade cut through nails and a 2×12 like it was not even there. They last a long time and do not dull quickly. Designed for versatility, these blades can tackle anything from clean wood to thick metal. From Milwaukee’s own website: “The Milwaukee Wrecker Sawzall blades feature a Fang Tip design that lets you make faster plunge cuts”. And it’s true the Fang Tip does bust right through. I will be buying these blades again in the future.

The wrecker is the perfect name for this blade. I used it for a whole house demo. The 6″ size is perfect in cutting through studs and drywall. The fang tip made it easier to plunge cut into wood and drywall. The coating on it wears off after a while but it does seem to cut through things faster then typical blades. The blade if more study and rigid and doesn’t permanently bend like other blades do. The description says it can cut metal but I would use a specific metal blade depending on the thickness of the metal to be cut. I highly recommend these blades as they are my main blade used for demo projects.

I use these blades on all sorts of demolition projects. They will hack through nails, screws, knots in the wood, just about everything. Make sure you are careful when using these as they move pretty fast through most material and will cut right through whatever they come in contact with. Don’t use a blade longer than you need so you don’t risk bending it or cutting into something you can’t see.If you are cutting pipes, or steel then you should use the blade specifically made for cutting meta.
