The salesman told me the kit contained two clamp washers but he was mistaken, it contains only one for the outside. Reluctantly I had to return the kit, but not before observing that the two components were good quality and definitely capable of doing the job for which they were manufactured.

I purchased this wrench to replace my DeWalt wrench which had sprouted legs and walked off.. I wasn’t sure the wrench would work, but , made the purchase anyway. It worked perfectly on my DeWalt side grinder. I did not use the special nut that came with the wrench.

Spanner wrench desperately needs to be made of tool grade steal; the metal is to soft to use on a suborn nut removal. Or have an option of a tool grade steal spanner?
