I purchased this adapter so I can use bits with my socket wrench. Now I can apply a high amount of torque when tightening a screw. This item should’ve been available in store not just online.

I just got it so can’t tell you the longevity of it but it seems very good quality, I expect it to last. I attach it to my Milwaukee 3/8 impact wrench with friction ring and it holds on pretty well, like others have said it does have a little wobble to it, but when driving screws, you’re applying pressure so it wont wobble anymore. $15 for this vs $130 for an impact driver, plus this is a lot stronger. You decide.

I like the fact it hooks up to my 3/8 impact wrench. A little loss of torque and that’s normal when using adapters.the only reason I give 4 star is because sometimes it doesn’t lock the bit until you play with it. May be breaking it down would help. It’s still new and I hoping it fixes the issue. I had problems multiple times locking the bit and releasing the bit.sometimes it locks sometimes it releases. But many times its not easy to replace bits faster I find that an issue specially when working at tight schedule. The quick release does not properly function. It’s a good tool to have but keep in mind it’s just an adapter.

If you have a 3/8 M18 Impact you should have this Mandrel !! I bought my M18 Fuel mostly for busting nuts 160 torque pounds and higher; a breeze! Now my M18 is a massive power drill yet thanks to clutching i can use indoors for RV and home repair!
