Best battery I have ever used. My M18 batteries that I purchased in January 2010 lasted all the way until mid 2020 with no degradation in power. In August 2020, I finally had to replace the batteries. I was only expecting the batteries to last for seven years, but I got 10 out of all four M18 batteries.Unfortunately, Home Depot will not recycle these batteries for me so I am forced to dispose of them in the regular trash.

Extra battery came as an add on to a brushless drill and impact kit sale. The extra battery is convenient as I usually use both tools at the same time so it keeps me from stopping when one battery peters out. The 2 AH batteries generally last quite a while.

In my experience the performance of Milwaukee batteries matches or exceeds most other brands. Compared to other brands I like these batteries because of the rubber bottoms that dont slide around. The locking/release mechanism is also very robust. The charge level meter is also nice to have for checking battery status.
