The Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM CP 2.0 & XC 4.0 batteries deliver up to two times more runtime, 20% more power and two times more recharges than standard lithium-ion batteries. The rechargeable battery also delivers 2.0 Ah of runtime. The extended-capacity battery delivers 4 Ah (48-watt-hour) of run time, even in sub-zero temperatures. The lithium-ion battery pack features superior pack construction, electronics and performance to provide more work per charge. Each battery pack is durably built for heavy-duty use, runs cooler and performs in climates below 0F/minus 18 degrees C. Its compact, lightweight design allows users to work in tight work spaces and reduces fatigue. Built-in REDLINK Intelligence protects the battery from overloads and preventing users from damaging their cordless power tools in heavy-duty situations. The discharge protection prevents cell damage. An integrated temperature management system and individual cell monitoring help to maximize battery life.

This is a good buy. I use these for my impact driver, drill, flashlights, and saws. They last for a reasonable time in the drills and drivers, but for saw use they didn’t have as much fight in them. I was only able to cut 6ea. 2 x 4s before the 4 amp batteries started getting low. Granted that is a good load, but I expected a little better for an M12 5.5 inch saw performance. So far they work great and hold a good charge, but you might need a 6 amp for heavy use of a saw to cut a piece of plywood or few 2 x 4s. Otherwise, these work well in my M12 tools.
