3 Piece Drill/Countersink Set Plus Allen Wrench. Package contains #6, #8 and #10 sizes to match various screw sizes. The drill portion is tapered and the countersink portion is adjustable up and down the drill shank. That is a nice feature but I would recommend that you do a test drill in a scrap piece of wood to make sure the clearance hold is the right size. I like to make a clearance hole large enough so I can insert and turn the screw all the way through the clearance hole with my fingers. When adjusting the countersink on the drill shank, there are two set screws. Tighten each set screw a small amount at a time to keep the countersink centered on the drill. I usually use these bits on a drill press to allow me to accurately set the countersink depth. The units have a hex shaft to allow for a stable fit into the drill chuck. One downside is that the drill bits seem to wabble some, that is, the tip does not spin on dead center. This does not seem to affect the accuracy of the hole.

My daughter and I have been remodeling our kitchen. I have a collection of very old countersink bit sets that are very old. They don’t work very well and some are even broken. We have had to drill countless countersink holes. Been frustrating at times with the old bits. These are nice bits. Come in the three most popular sizes. Are depth adjustable for different lengths of screws. The drill bits are tapered so the screws fit tight in the drilled holes. Made out of strong material so should last a long time. Comes with an allen wrench to adjust for depth.

This is a precision set of countersink bits. They are comparably priced with other quality bits. The bits have tapered ends that allow you to precisely and easily drill your holes. The set comes with three different size bits: 9/64″, 11/64″ and 3/16″ and an allen wrench for adjusting and tightening your bits. I used these bits to build a kitchen cabinet and they worked great. I counter sank all the exposed screws heads and used wood plugs to hide all the screws.

I have a cabinet project coming up and wanted a countersink bit set to make the screws flush. I like Milwaukee products and chose this set. The shank can be used with a regular drill or 1/4″ impact driver. The depth is adjustable with a collar and the included allen key. The sizes are the most common for wood work. I like the tapered bits,this gives the screws more “bite” with more material to grip inside the hole.
