The Milwaukee 7/8 in. Diamond Ultra Wet Core Bit use top quality diamonds to help speed up your work. It is designed to be used wet with a 13 inch drilling depth. This core bit is designed for concrete and concrete with rebar. We have used these bits before for taking core samples on tarmaks and they work very well. I have many products from Milwaukee and they haven’t disappointed me yet.

I’ve been a fan of Milwaukee tools and accessories for many years. However this is the first core bit I’ve gotten. Being a 4″ core drill I had to use my corded 1/2″ Milwaukee magnum holeshooter drill. I found the most important factor of drilling through such a large core was keeping the drill very wet, not only for lubricating but cooling as well. I performed flawlessly. Surprising it even went through rebar relatively easy. But again, I except nothing less from Milwaukee.

Milwaukee 48-17-5045 4 ½” x 16’ Diamond Ultra Wet Core Bit – These core bits are the newest generation of Milwaukee Wet Core Bits, according to Milwaukee they drill faster in reinforced concrete and have a 20% longer run time than previous generations of wet core bits when drilling cure concrete with rebar due to being engineered with thin 3mm kerf and 10mm high diamond segments…They have also been designed for use on the MX FUEL Cordless Core Drill as well as all cored core drills…The internal mounting thread is 1 ¼” x 7 on core bits sizes 2” through 8” and 5/8” x 11 on core bit sizes 5/8 through 1 ½”…The core bit performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems…A good endurance test will be to measure the diamond segments after approximately 100 holes to determine amount of wear…

Milwaukee 5/8″ Diamond Ultra Wet core drilling bit, Excellent coring bit for solid concrete with metal rebar, Will drill concrete blocks, Clay bricks, and pavers, Stone veneer, Self feeding, shank style 5/8″, Diamond grit coring tip must use wet only I use a hand pump type sprayer and rig it up to spray the tip with water while I drill, This coring drill bit will last if used with water and even applied pressure.

Core drill bit worked great. No chipping of brick on the exterior wall. So much better than a mansonry dry core drill bit which almost always chips the brick when it exits the exterior wall. I drilled thru 8 inch thick concrete wall with exterior brick. Diamonds look like they are all intact and ready for multiple more holes. I talked with a plumber about drilling the hole, his quote was $450.00-500.00. Saved me time and money

Milwaukee does not disappoint! I have used many core bits and this is the easiest fastest and cleanest core bit I have ever used. I drilled through concrete to run the plumbing for my addition on my summer home. Went through with no problems. I have not tried with rebar yet but I very confident it will go through easily. The size is three and a half inches.

I actually got this to make core samples through Fossil rich granite and slate rock. I cored through a 5 inch thick piece of granite using my brushless rigid cordless drill and it went through using only one battery (I used a 1 5/8 inch socket with adapter since this core bit is intended to be used with a proprietary coring drill) . I also cored through a 5 inch thick slab of concrete after that and it went through the concrete pretty quick, at least twice as fast. The cutting teeth still look pretty much new so I know this has got a lot of life in it. Very nice core bit. Just be sure to keep it wet as you go.

I got this bit for a job I ended up not doing. So, rather than return it, I searched my brain for other uses. We had started redoing our driveway and I decided I wanted to install a carport .I can’t tell how easy it was to install using this bit. I mean it cut through the already existing asphalt like butter. Installation of the poles took at least half the time using this bit to bore out holes.

Milwaukee 5/8 in. Diamond Ultra Wet Core Bit Country of origin – undetermined When you need to make a hole in a ceramic, brick, concrete or stone surface, a common “hardened steel” bit will not do the job. Experienced workers are familiar with Milwaukee tools – well built (revised term) strong and get the job done. My experience with this wet-core bit was a surprise that revealed my rookie status – pics show a chuck attachment wholly unlike any of my carpentry drills. Think Roto-hammer instead. In order to cut your core with these bits, you’ve got to screw it into a tapped fitting (thread size 11). Keep the revs down and cutting site wet on this one – the 3 inch (w/ 11/4″ 7 thread mount) is used with DRY cutting. In both cases, use eye protection and a face-filter – stone bits do NOT belong in your lungs or eyes

An incredibly effective and safe core drill, butter smooth through a 18″ filled block and brick wall. No craftsman should be without this Milwaukee model.

I’ve been trying to rental an 8” inch core bit but none of the rental stores in my area have one that big. In order to have my septic tank pumped I have to lift/tilt each end of the tank led separately, they are very heavy and it takes 2 people. Local septic tank manufactures want more than double the cost of this bit, or 4 times this amount to install a new lid with holes already manufactured in it. Researched the internet and found this Milwaukee coring bit and decided to purchase it first and give it a try. I own a lot of Milwaukee tools and have had not had any problems to date. I purchased an adapter to fit my older B&D drill that turns very slow so I can attach using a socket. I just took it slow and didn’t apply to much down pressure. Worked great. Saved me a lot of money.

SO FAST!!! This Milwaukee Diamond Wet Core bit sailed through five inch thick old hard concrete in just a few minutes. I wanted to test it on some scrap before I need to rely on it for a bid job. Very impressive. I’ll eventually buy an MX Fuel core drill rig, but this was surprisingly easy to run on the impressive Milwaukee Fuel 1/2” M18 drill. You definitely need to use the side handle. Also, it barely touched the capacity of an M18 6.0 high output battery. More than impressed. Amazed!Highly recommend!

MILWAUKEE 3/4 IN. DIAMOND ULTRA WET CORE BIT does exactly what it is built for. The drill bit is sturdy, but and strong. Am not sure how long the diamond tip would last. As you can see the pic, its not like other diamond tips i have seen before. The drilling took me some time to do any decent drilling, but overall its meets or better than other similar drill bits i have.

This is the Milwaukee 4″ Drill Bit for coring through Concrete and Reinforced Concrete. it is 4″ wide at the outside diameter of the bit and it can go up to 16″ deep. It requires water to keep the bit cool and to flush the tailings away. It has a 1 1/4″ # 7 Thread size at the top and comes with anti seize already installed in the threads. We have used these bits through the years to core through the floors in new construction buildings to run our Telecommunications cables between the floors and have never been disappointed with the Milwaukee bits. I have also used them to drill through Granite Counter Tops. Just be sure to use plenty of cool water and it’s no problem. Cuts through the rebar and everything. A really great tool. You do need to have the proper drill in order to use this bit.
