The Milwaukee 48-20-7490 is a Carbide 2-Cutter SDS Plus Bit Kit comes with 5 different sizes. They are: 3/16” x 4”, ¼” x 6”, 5/16” x 6”, 3/8” x 6”, ½” x 6”. The tips have beaker points to help break the material when drilling. It also has a rebar guard to help it break the point. The 4-fluted spiral shaft helps improve dust removal to remove the product if the drilling hole so the bits doesn’t build up in the hole and heats up the bit. It comes with a carry case to hold the bits. I had no issue when drilling through concrete and masonry. It drill with ease. A product from Milwaukee.

Great bits for all types of masonry construction work.The durable 2 tooth cutting head lets you plow right into most types of concrete quickly. Saving tool and battery life.I have to drill my concrete garage and basement walls to attach shelves and hangers and these bits work awesome with an SDS+ hammer drill.I don’t think I’ll ever be able to dull them with normal chores and work. Based on their performance I could drill a thousand holes and still have bit left.The four pack carrying case is handy and stashes in the tool box or a pocket so that you have a variety of bits. 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2″ are all in the box. These are your most common sizes for tapcons and other hardware as well.They are a great value for the price. I’d recommend them for sure

I picked up a set of Milwaukee 2-cutter SDS-Plus carbide hammer drill bit set (5 piece ) Model # 48-20-7490They were shipped to me in a Milwaukee box I thought that was a nice touch when I took the drill bits out of the box they came in a hard plastic clear case that keeps the drill bits divided for organization there are 5 sizes 3/16″ x 4″ 1/4″ x 6″ 5/16″ x 6″ 3/8″ x 6″ 1/2″ x 6″ you can use them on brick, cinder block and solid concrete they come with a 4-fluted spiral shaft that improves dust removal it helps the drill bit from binding up in the hole.They are made from M2 Steel which is a Tungsten-molybdenum high speed steel with a well-balanced composition for long-lasting durability. What I really like about these drill bits are the fact that they are multi-faceted carbide that means when you are drilling through re-bar it will reduce the chance of breaking the tip of the drill bit these Milwaukee drill bits are super tough.I used these bits in my 1″ SDS rotary hammer drill and these bits are fast and makes a very clean hole in brick, cinder block and concrete I love these masonary drill bits. They are also made in Germany we all know Germany makes high-end tools I will purchase these bits again if you want a good set of bits the Milwaukee SDS-Plus ( 5-piece ) are for you I give the Milwaukee masonry bits 5 stars they are well worth the money you spend on them I recommend this product 100%

If your working with concrete or stucco, and there is any chance your going to run into metal… rebar… screening.. these bits are great. I tried to take a good picture of the tips, they are a little hard to visualize, almost like serrated knife – at an angle. So when it encounters something, it chews right through it. The set is also a solid value. I probably use the big ones mostly, but it’s good to have smaller ones time to time.

The Milwaukee 5 pack of SDS Plus masonry bits is a good buy. These German made bits are for SDS masonry drill and do not work in standard chuck drills. The fluted masonry bits work well, clean out material during the drilling process and cut fast. The actual carbide tips are different than most other masonry- concrete bits that are flat shaped. These cutting tips have small indentations that break up the material and make the drilling faster. There are stored in a slim plastic case that allows the bits to be clearly seen for choosing the correct sizes. The five pack includes a 3/16”X 4” bit, ¼” X 6” bit, 5/16” X 6” bit, 3/8” X6” bit, and a ½” X 6” bit.Another fine product from Milwaukee. Milwaukee always has state of the art tools and products. Sorry, no photos of the actual holes or in use as the concrete truck arrived 20 minutes early so I was not able to spend the time and take photos. The 3/8” and ½ inch drill bits drilled a year-old concrete slab quickly. I did not hit any rebar to see how the rebar guards worked on the drill bit tip ends.
