If you need to drill a lot of holes in soft brick, these are what you need. With the 4 cutters, they distribute the impact better, reducing the chances of breaking the brick. They also do a good job of cleaning out the hole.If you are drilling something like old concrete, then you do not want to use these bits. They take about 3 times as long as the 2 cutter versions. So you don’t want this set as a general purpose set. They are a more specialised tool.

This is a nice set of SDS drill bits. What I did not realize is there is a difference in SDS Plus and SDS Max drills. This set works on the SDS Plus drills but not on the SDS Max drill. My only problem is I don’t own a SDS Plus drill. I ordered these thinking they would work for my drill. That’s when I realized there were two different SDS drills. But the quality of these drills is excellent. They are made to drill through rebar as well as c oncrete. The self centering part of the ibt is nice to make sure your hole lines up where you want it to.

You get what you pay for. These aren’t cheap, but they eat concrete like its nothing. The four cutter head design is great at getting through even old, hard concrete. I use these with a 12v sds drill and an 18v sds drill and neither drill has had any issues with these bits. The variable fluting on these bits clears the holes better than other brands that I have used and the wear guides are nice so you know when bit replacement is needed.

We were looking for a good drill bit kit for a remodeling project that we are currently doing, and found these at Home Depot. So far, I am quite happy with them. They look like they can handle pretty much anything we can throw at them, and they look nearly as good as new. Would absolutely recommend these to a friend looking for good quality drill bit kit!

This is a great set of drill bit for masonry, block or cement, in 4 of the most popular sizes. They come in a handy case that holds them securely, and sizes included are (1 bit each) 3/16″, 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, & 1/2″. the SDS Plus chucking system is the industry standard and works great. These bits are ideal for a battery powered hammer drill, and they will drill more holes per charge than standard bits. They have 4 cutter head as opposed to two on normal masonry bits, and the design 4 times the life when hitting rebar. Great set of bits!

Great bits for all types of masonry construction work. The durable 4 tooth cutting head lets you plow right into rebar and not worry about snagging the bit or breaking it off.I have to drill my concrete garage and basement walls to attach shelves and hangers and these bits work awesome with an SDS+ hammer drill.I don’t think I’ll ever be able to dull them with normal chores and work. Based on their performance I could drill a thousand holes and still have bit left. The four pack carrying case is handy and stashes in the tool box or a pocket so that you have a variety of bits. 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2″ are all in the box. These are your most common sizes for tapcons and other hardware as well. They are a great value for the price. I’d recommend them for sure.

We have a home built in 1905, and it seems like we’re always renovating some part, building on, improving, and dressing it up – inside and out. One of the best portable power tools we bought was a hammer drill. We sort of skimped on hammer drill bits. It happens. Then when you invest in some GOOD drill bits, you have a DOH! moment. These are exceptional bits, solid and sturdy in the most common sizes. EXCELLENT product!

Milwaukee tools are the greatest! These bits are fantastic. I am not sure what I am going to do with all of them, but I use some of them for drilling into concrete to set anchors or secure Tapcon screws. These bits last an incredibly long time and so I am confident I am not going to need to replace them very often like some other brands. They work ideally in my rotary hammer and I suggest them!

Milwaukee MX4 4-Cutter SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill Bits – For many years I have used the same brand of masonry bits in my rotary hammer and been very satisfied. Two things really attracted me to the Milwaukee 4 cutter; the centering tip and the rebar guards. With my other bits I would usually drill a pilot with a small bit to ensure the larger hole was dead-on. Using the ½ inch Milwaukee bit there was no drift making the pilot unnecessary. Without doing a side-by-side drilling comparison, Milwaukee’s bits seemed to drill somewhat faster with about the same amount of silica dust. They also seemed to break through hard aggregate better. Hitting rebar in the spot where you exactly need a hole is a pain, but snapping off a bit after hitting rebar is a bigger pain. That said, I haven’t hit rebar yet in any of the holes I have drilled with these bits so I am curious about how they will perform.

I really like that when drilling holes in tile it does not slip when you first start hole.

This is a hefty drill set for hard masonry materials. I found it to centers well without walking. Basically, these are now in my hammer drill box along with a bunch of concrete anchors. Together they do the job for all the hard materials like concrete, brick and mortar.I haven’t drilled anything with rebar close enough that I would hit it, so I can’t comment on their claim.I haven’t had to use the wear indicators, but it sounds like an interesting idea.

I have a Bosch rotary hammer, but almost all my bits for it are from Milwaukee. I have used DeWalt bits and some Bosch bits. These are certainly on par or better. I have used these bits before, so I have adequate experience to easily rate them 5 stars. They engage in the tools easily and securely. Personally, I wish the attachment was a bit more friendly with a standard chuck. It would be nice to slip one into my hammer drill for going into mortar and a few bricks. They usually end up out of true, necessitating a few adjustments of the bit. I just recently purchased an 18V SDS drill, so maybe my hammer drills won’t gets much use in the future. The longevity on these is very good. I am still waiting for the set that I purchased last year to wear out.

Excellent carbide drills for brick, concrete block, plain and reinforced concrete. These 4 cutter bits start accurately and eat into concrete like wood bits drill into wood – that is with ease. I used to buy another brand but my son gave me a Father’s Day gift of Milwaukee drills for an upcoming project and I was amazed at the difference in both the way they progress and life expectancy. I use these with my SDS plus hammer drill, whenever I have working room, with excellent results. This package includes five of the common sizes used for concrete inserts and screws in a convenient plastic case.
