The MX4 SDS bits are a great concept that works fantastically. These bits drill much faster and easier than the traditional bit designs. As you can see in the video, the bit goes into the material like butter. I prefer this bit design over the traditional design because it is easier to use overall. The nice thing about these bits are the four cutting bits. The design should last for may cuts without going dull.Great item for any hammerdrill requiring SDS designed bits.

I can’t speak to all the claims on the package (up to 4x life in rebar, 20% more holes per charge, 4 cutter design, variable flute, breaker points), I can only tell you I needed to drill six 3” deep, 1/2” diameter holes, into a concrete slab and the 1/2” bit included in this set did a great job! Easy start, no jumping, efficient… lots of dust. I’m just a DIYer who happens to have a never ending “to do” list and a corded Bosch Bulldog that takes SDS-plus bits. I’ve found over the years that individual bits are expensive and while I may not need all the sizes in this set now, I will eventually. So far, very pleased with the performance.

The Milwaukee MX4 SDS-PLUS CARBIDE BIT SET is an excellent addition to any SDS drill set. The four cutter design produces straight, uniformly round and accurate holes in concrete and masonry, making for a more secure grip, especially with wedge style anchors. The 3/16″ to 1/2″ diameter assortment covers most everyday applications, with professional results at a reasonable cost.
