The Milwaukee SDS-Plus 4-Cutter MX4 3/8 in. X 16 in. X 18 in. Drill Bits feature solid carbide heads that deliver up to 5x longer life in concrete with rebar. Engineered with rebar guards to provide maximum durability in hard aggregate and rebar. MX4 4-Cutter bits are designed with sharp centering tips for exact spot drilling in concrete and metal decking. The 4-cutter design prevents lock-up in rebar, reducing downtime. Variable flutes remove dust faster, reducing heat and delivering up to 20% more holes per battery charge. I purchased this to finish drilling a hole through a foundation. Lucky me, not , there was rebar where I had chosen to drill. My other bit was stopped cold at the rebar. I hesitated to use the new bit but had to get the job finished. It plowed through rebar and very hard concrete like it was butter. I will be replacing my older bits with these.

I used this bit to drill through a 6” slab so I can run 3/4” PVC through the slab and this bit did the job in about a minute. I set my rotary hammer to the hammer drill setting and it was very easy to punch through

Never used Milwaukee drill bits before, assumed it wouldn’t be any different from other brands I have used, notably Bosch and Irwin. Although I didn’t get to use the bit in a heavy duty fashion, the limited experience was very positive. It drilled through cement board and cement block easily. My only regret is that I didn’t make the purchase sooner because it could have saved time/energy on my project.

This star bit for concrete is a really good investment. It goes thru concrete like a hot knife thru butter. I used a hammer drill and this bit to drill 13 holes and it took me only 15 minutes to drill them all. The bit is well made and the star on the cutting end does on heck of a job at cutting thru the concrete. After using this bit to do all 13 holes, its still very sharp and I am sure it will cut many more holes as needed. The bit is well made and the length lets me choose the proper depth that I need to go. I had tried other bits but not with the success that this bit has. This will be my go to bit from now on. Great investment. Highly recommend this tool.
