The Milwaukee SDS-MAX 4-Cutter MX4 5/8 in. X7-1/2 in. X 13 in. Drill Bits feature solid carbide heads that deliver up to 5x longer life in concrete with rebar. Engineered with rebar guards to provide maximum durability in hard aggregate and rebar. MX4 4-Cutter bits are designed with sharp centering tips for exact spot drilling in concrete. The integrated 4-cutter design prevents lock-up in rebar, reducing downtime. Variable flutes remove dust faster, reducing heat and delivering up to 15% more holes per battery charge. Wear mark indicator shows users the end of life when the bits no longer meet the ANSI requirement. The Milwaukee MX4 4-Cutter Drill Bits are ideal for concrete with rebar and masonry applications.

Very well made as are all of Milwaukee’s tools. SDS tools are easy mounting and easy to remove, no keys necessary. These bits cut like a dream. Shank is precision ground to fit SDS MAX tools. Very fast and smooth cutting. The way the carbide is shaped and sharpened it should hold up for a lot of holes.Photos would show little so I have none with this review.

I needed to drill a bunch of 2″ deep, 3/4″ holes in a well cured concrete slab. This bit did a great job, drilling the holes in no time. I found that I got the best results if I supported some of the weight of the drill. The entire weight of the drill was too much pressure on the bit for optimum drilling speed.After a dozen holes, you could hardly tell the bit had been used. This is a well made bit, and I expect to drill a lot of holes with it. It should easily last me for the rest of my life…

This bit drilled quickly and effortlessly. I recommend the Concrete With Rebar bit weather you expect to encounter rebar on the job that the bit is being purchased for or not. Expect the unexpected, such as hard gravel or other embedded metal or hard debris. This is the line of bits for the job.
