Milwaukee makes great equipment in my opinion and these hammer drill bits are no exception. There are 7 bits included in this set, one 3/8″, one 5/16″, two 1/4″, two 3/16″, and one 5/32″. The bits are stamped Germany so the steel is a quality steel which I hope to stay sharp for a long time. Each shank has 3 flat sections which keep the bit from spinning in the drill chuck. They come in a handy plastic container box for neat and easy storage.

These are great bits and do not slip in the chuck. I mainly use them in poured concrete walls and slabs and they work very well.I will most likely purchase another set in case I ever wear these tough bits out.

I consider a lot of hammer drill bits disposable. Prolonged use, even on a single hole in concrete can destroy a bit that is not capable of handling the heat generated. Many have a maximum speed allowed for this reason, which is often lower than the drill that I am using. These bits seem to be capable of repeated use, and have no maximum speed indicated. They get hot, but seem to be able to handle the heat. The 1/4 inch size drilled two inches into a concrete foundation wall in less than a minute. Old concrete can sometimes be the most difficult to drill, but I had no problem here, and the bit looked just as good when finished. To be sure, the bit does only half of the work. A good hammer drill is also needed, and in this case both were Milwaukee. They make a good product, and their tool line has been expanding a lot lately. Everything that I have seen has been high quality, well designed and manufactured. As far as the case for these bits, it is a little confusing at first. Just slice the paper label at the ridge, and the top will slide right off, so that you can reuse the case. Maybe there could have been some direction on the label.A very nice set of bits, that should last longer than most.

Work your way through the concrete slab, let the hammer do the impact and the drill do the hole -that’s the difference between concrete and butter…

The drills are as expected, and the shipping container can make a permanent drill holder

Excellent carbide drills for brick, concrete block, plain and reinforced concrete. These 2 cutter bits eat into concrete like wood bits drill into wood – that is with ease. I used to buy another brand but my son gave me a Father’s Day gift of Milwaukee drills for an upcoming project and I was amazed at the difference in both the way they progress and life expectancy. I have used these with my M18 battery powered hammer drill with excellent results. This package includes five of the common sizes used for concrete inserts and screws with two each of the most used 3/16” and 1/4” sizes in a handy plastic case.

I used these to install some tapcons. I needed a hole in concrete block about an 1.5″ deep. Using an M-18 hammer drill, the 5/32″ bit made the hole in seven seconds. I was impressed with how fast it tore into the concrete. I used the 3/16″ bit in a concrete paver with rock set in the surface. Again, it chewed deep and fast into the paver. The 3/16 hit something, and the bit came out of the chuck, but it cut a nice hole fast. Even boring between the rocks in the paver, the tip showed no wear.

Anything Milwaukee is always great quality

It got the job done perfectly. The only downside was that the package was hard to open, and I ended up cutting some of the storage box of the bits, but I got it open!

What can I say these are great. Just what I except from Milwaukee. They work really well. I’ve only used a couple of them a few times but they work great in my Ryobi Hammer Drill. I can see them lasting much better than the cheep ones I had before. The case is nice but I’m not sure how long the case will actually last. I hope to get a long life out of these.

Unusually small sizes but work perfectly…………………………………………………This is an unbiased review that is unaffected by the fact that I received this product for free. As proof of impartiality, just click on my nickname and see the average of the ratings I have given over 300 reviews to date.I don’t have many instances to drill a hole in masonry material smaller than 1/2″ diameter, but if I ever did, these would work just fine. I tried 3 sizes on an old red brick and the drills went very fast using a Milwaukee 1/2″ hammer drill. It took just a few seconds to drill each hole all the way through the brick. It went so fast that I failed to release the pressure near the end and the bit broke through the brick, taking some material with it on the bottom side. They should work better when I am used to going this fast. Each bit has 3 flats on the end to accommodate a normal 3-point chuck. The set comes in a clear plastic case.

Perfect! High quality bits for masonry in a convenient case. This is the perfect set – all the right sizes for most smaller jobs. I don’t drill concrete everyday and because of that usually have to go looking for my bits. At least in the convenient case, I will always be able for find them. These are really good bits made in Germany. The three sided flat shank design prevents the bit from slipping in the chuck. In my m-18 hammer drill (with the 9 amp hour battery) these go through concrete like nobody’s business. Perfect for tap-cons and plastic anchors – in fact the set includes two 1/4 inch bits which is generally what I use for anchors. Great set of great drill bits that will definitely get the job done!
