I recently had a project requiring me to drill holes in the concrete foundation of my home. I extended a hose bit to the other side of the house, a distance of over 40 feet. I used single hole, strap clamps at 24” intervals to secure the PVC pipe to the foundation. With that many holes to drill I needed some very good hammer drill masonry bits. I did some extensive research on the best bits available and decided that the Milwaukee Hammer Drill bits were best for my project. I selected the 7 piece set that includes sizes from ⅛” up to ½”. Now I won’t have to compromise bit size when I have to drill a hole in masonry. The bit length (overall 6”) is ideal for my needs, as there are times the area I want a hole is in a tight spot. These bits a constructed of first-class materials and cut through masonry and concrete like butter. Definitely the best results I’ve ever achieved. I highly recommend this product. You won’t need new bits for a long time.

The Milwaukee 7-Piece Carbide Hammer Drill Bit Kit includes fast-drilling bits in 1/8 in., 5/32 in., 3/16 in., 1/4 in., 5/16 in., 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. sizes. A 3-flat Secure-Grip prevents these bits from slipping in the chuck. These drill bits are 6 inches long, with the exception of the 1/8 inch bit that is 3 inches long. The drills are packaged in a convenient storage case. The carbide tips on the 5/32 through the ½ inch drills are reinforced relief flute ground for better cutting characterizes than conventional single ground bits. These bits cut into concrete and masonry extremely well, and with the 3 flat shanks they do not loosen or slip in a hammer or conventional drill. This set is made in Germany.

I didn’t realize that my regular impact drill/driver couldn’t keep up with just any bit. So when I used these bits I felt the drill overworking and overheating. These bits are made for a hammer driver drill! That being said, the bits still worked, it just overworked me and the improper drill! The bits still felt very secure as stated and seemed like high quality hammer drill bits! Looking forward to using them with the correct drill!!

What can I say these are great. Just what I except from Milwaukee. They work really well. I’ve only used a couple of them a few times but they work great in my Ryobi Hammer Drill. I can see them lasting much better than the cheep ones I had before. The case is nice but I’m not sure how long the case will actually last. I hope to get a long life out of these.

Very nice set of small hammer drill bits, 1/8″ up to 1/2″. I have always preferred Milwaukee bits because they seem to last longer and cut better than some of the others I have tried. Included with the bits is a very handy plastic carrying case. The case also states ‘Made in Germany’, which may account for the better performance as compared to lesser brands.

This 7 piece Milwaukee Carbide Hammer Drill Bit Set is very high quality at a reasonable price. The kit comes with the following size bits, 1/8” (3.2mm), 5/32” (4.0mm), 3/16” (4.8mm), 1/4” (6.3mm), 5/16” (7.9mm), 3/8” (9.5mm), and 1/2” (12.7mm). The 1/2 inch bit has a reduced shank so it can fit into a 3/8 inch drill chuck.I have used cheap hammer drill bits in the past and have always been disappointed with them when the shanks have bent, or the carbide tips have chipped. These bits from Milwaukee are in a totally different class from what I have been used to. The holes drilled effortlessly, and the fluting on the bits easily removed the dust and debris (See Photo). These bits are made in Germany (See Photo), and the shanks are strong and heavy. The shanks have Milwaukee’s “3-Flat Secure-Grip”™ (See Photo) that secure the bit in the drill’s chuck, and makes drill bit slippage a thing of the past. The 1/8th inch bit was the only one that did not have the 3 Flat Secure-Grip™. It had a normal round shank due to its size. The 1/8th inch bit was also only 3 inches in length; while all the other bits were about 6 inches in length with 4 inches of fluting, the 1/2 inch bit only had about 3 ¼ inches of fluting for chip removal (See Photo). You can use these bits with a regular non-hammer drill, but it will take longer to drill your hole. You can drill concrete blocks easily with a non-hammer drill, but if you’re drilling multiple holes in an old concrete slab, a hammer drill will really show off the quality, and ability of these Milwaukee hammer drill bits. They come in a plastic case with a pull off top (See Photo). What caught my eye was that the front of the case has the sizes printed on the label in inches and millimeters (See Photo), but the drills were not in their proper slot locations. It took a while before I figured out why they shipped them this way. When placed in the case as labeled from 1/8” on the left and increasing to 1/2” on the right, the case does not hang on a store display straight! The right side droops because all the heavy bits are on the right side. I of course relocated them to their assigned labeled positions.

I have not had great success in using masonry drill bits. Most that I have bought have worn out very quickly. So, I purchased these with strong doubt that they would last. However, I am pleased to say that I was wrong. I have been very satisfied with the durability of these bits and would recommend them to anyone that has the need to drill into masonry.

Great set of drill bits for a good price. Works perfectly with my Milwaukee 2804-20. Packaging looked a little old, so it’s probably and old product. Pick them up while you still can.

If you are tired of having to continually replace dull or chipped carbide tipped bits then this is the perfect set of replacement carbide drill bits to purchase. While any of the cheapo imported carbide bits can drill into masonry or cement I can almost guarantee you all cheaply made imported bits will overheat and get dull when you attempt to drill into heavy aggregated concrete. These are 6-inch length drill bits and come with their own carrying case so you will not lose any of the bits which comprise this set. The backside of the bits which go towards the hammer drill have 3-flats on the end which almost guarantees your bit will not slip or work loose due to a worn chuck. I don’t know why these Milwaukee branded carbide drill bits cut into concrete so easily but suffice it to say for the few dollars more you now have a quality set of bits which will last quite a few years longer. This set is made in Germany so you know the quality is built-in

These are a great set of bits that go through concrete like noting at all. I use these on my hammer drill, and the a super quick, and they last a really long time.I haven’t had any break on me after multiple uses, and they stay really sharp. I also love how the flutes carry out the dust while the drill is going. This allows you to go faster on the job, and diffidently much cheaper than a lot of the others on the market. 100% Recommend!
