I actually used this bit to drill through hardened steel as nothing else seemed to be getting the job done. I will say, the hardened steel did destroy parts of the tip with each hole that was drilled. All said, I went through two of these bits, eventually completely destroying both drilling 11 holes through 1/8” hardened steel, with oil, slow speed, and lots of pressure. As I noted, no other bits were getting the job done. So, concrete bits might just be the answer if you ever find yourself in a similar tough spot.

Powered through 60-year old concrete to install transition strips.

Too much force has to be used for you to drill a hole, then the materials are ripped after hole is made

I bought this bit because the bits provided with concrete anchor sets seem to wear out too quickly. This bit has far out-performed those provided bits and it’s still sharp after two jobs.

The bit did a great job drilling holes in concrete block and the acme brick on my home. It went through the concrete blocks with little effort. The Acme brick was a little more challenging but the bit still worked great.

Purchased this so I could mount a jbox to a cinderblock wall. I don’t have a hammer drill but with my M18 impact driver, this bit made easy work of the holes. Well worth it.

Excellent bit went thru concrete wall with very little resistance. I would recommend to anyone if they have to drill into hard concrete.

Worked great in concrete – no swearing required

bought 2 same size concrete drill bits by different manufacturers. The Bosch Bulldog failed completely, got nowhere, on 3 holes. The Milwaukee drilled the 3 holes quickly and easily.

I needed to drill 4 holes in brick to mount a flag support. I attached this bit to my Ryobi impact driver and drilled the 4 holes in less than 1 minute. This method was far superior to using a regular masonry bit on a drill.
