Quality multiple purpose drill bits, very durable for very hard surface materials..ran balanced and straight without wobbling

These bits worked perfect. I was installing caster wheels on a generator but needed the holes for the stem to be much bigger. It took a minute to do all four holes.

They work good in my hammer and done surprisingly well in my impact. I have only used the 1/4” in concrete and blocks but so far very happy

This five-piece set of six inch drill bits are fantastic! Most carbide tip drill bits come in four” length which is fine for most things. However, if you need that extra length, this will cover most everything else on various projects. It should be noted that if using on concrete, cinder block or brick, you will need a roto-hammer rather than a standard drill (this pounds the bit back and forth while it turns). What’s nice about these is that they work on tile as well. Although it states it will work on things like plastic, wood and metal, I would not use this as my primary bit for those material – but rather, I would use it if I was passing through multi-layered surface where I was passing through brick or concrete through wood and metal behind for instance. Starting on a wood or metal surface will not make a clean starter hole with the carbide bits. One very annoying thing was the packaging. The plastic pack resembles a case or holder. However, this is a deception. The plastic needs to be destroyed to get at the bits and likely cannot be used as a holder.

Work great, as good or better than the Bosch equivalent

Easily drills through brick and concrete without the tips becoming dull.

The bits worked great drilling into concrete.

Wow! What a great find. I used my impact driver, and drilled through red brick like it was butter. The bit cut with ease, I didn’t need the force typically needed to drill through red brick. Definitely beats purchasing those cheap inexpensive bits.

Nice set of multi material drill bits.5 sizes from 5/32 to 3/8. Comes in plastic case that will fit in tool box to protect edges. Works with both Impact and Hammer drills, except not recommended for impact driver on concrete or use on porcelain tile. When I used on 1/4 inch flat steel I did need to use a standard drill just to make starter spot as bit had a tendency to walk. But once I made indentation it drilled very fast and neat. I noticed that the bit really kinda shaved the steel with large shavings (I like that) compared to a standard metal drill bit. It was also much faster. Quick change bits with 1/4 inch fittings. On the brick they just flat drill fast and good.

Loved the drills, loved AND hated the packaging. The packaging has great graphics, pictures to show what materials, and a graph to tell how fast you can drill ’em. But, it’s a bear to get into and still preserve the information you will want to preserve; I ended up using a Dremel cut-off wheel.I recently had to anchor a canopy to studs behind a stucco wall. In the past, this required a cement drill bit and then a wood bit, but I was able to do the whole job with one bit. They’ve also done a fine job on brick and clay pots.

So far so good. Drilled through concrete, wood, and softer metal like butter.

Milwaukee carbide multi material drill bit setThey come in a plastic package that must be cut open.if careful you can still use as a holding case for the bits.five sizes 5/32″ 3/16″, 1/4″ 5/16″ 3/8″Your best results will come with impact and hammer drillsHowever they work fine with good old standard drills. My Milwaukee standard corded 1/2″ drill is probably 30+ years old and does fine with the drill bits.I drilled cement pavers, concrete driveway and more.Bits cut quickly and made a well defined hole.My hammer drill uses Bosch type bits so I could not use it to sample.Overall great drill bits for their purpose.

I ordered these drill bits to replace a set of all in one bits. I hadn’t bought this brand before. I received the bits and they looked really nice – if anyone cares about drill bit looks. I pondered how to open the packaging. I couldn’t tell if it was a drill bit case or just hard to open plastic. Finally, I got out the medical scissors and cut the container. I put the bits in a toolbox drawer anyway. I decided to try to reproduce the picture on the web site that showed multiple materials drilled. My first test was flagstone left over from my home construction. Boom, the drill bit went straight through like a masonry bit. The next test was a wet 2×4. Again, the drill bit went right through. At that point I liked the bits. They fit in the drill easily. I decided to give a try on an old steel garden edger blade. I didn’t punch a starter dent, so the drill traveled as shown in the picture. When the bit hit a rusty part, it stuck and started drilling. I didn’t think the drill bit was going to make it. There was a dimple depression in the steel, but it was not making progress. I think what happened next was the metal started heating up, then boom, the drill bit went right through the steel. The steel blade was hot to the tough. These are good drill bits. They are good quality and do the job. Good product.

It did the job I was looking for, but they broke along the way. I was probably asking a bit much out of them. I was looking for any drill bits to bore out some broken bolts I had. These claimed they were rated for metal. They drilled through the bolt beautifully, but almost every single carbide tip broke or chipped, with one notable exception breaking the tip completely off. That said, I would probably buy them again if the need arose.

I was able to easily drill several holes into the exterior bricks of my house. I used a drill; however, I could have used a hammer drill.
