The Milwaukee 9/16 carbide hammer drill bit is a durable and quality bit. It tackled brick and block with ease. Drilling a fast, clean hole with a cordless hammer drill. This drill bit was drilling through block without the hammer function. The drill bit did not bend or break when it was wobbled around the hole. The flat edges on the bottom of the bit create a positive lock in the drill. Made in the USA,

It worked well, but would have been better if it fit a true hammer drill like a hilti

My poured concrete block exterior wall was extremely difficult to drill. This bit went right through with little resistance. Best bit I own now.

The Milwaukee 5/8 inch Carbide Hammer Drill Bit For Concrete, Stone, and Masonry Drilling is an excellent drill bit. It cuts as good as a 4 fluted concrete bit and it is only a 2 fluted bit. Having used both types of bits, this the best 2 fluted masonry bit my husband has ever used. We would recommend it to anybody for a valuable labor saving masonry bit.

Excellent product! Received my 5/8 in. X 16 in. X 18 in. Carbide Hammer Drill Bit for concrete, stone and masonry and was very pleased. This bit cut through my concrete wall like butter – it was quick and easy and did exactly what I wanted it to do. I am liking this so much, that I intend to purchase a full set of the other available sizes. I highly recommend this to all.

I am pouring a small concrete pad to set an air compressor on. Got this bit to drill into a shop step next to it for it to be solid. The carbide bit was fast and quickly drilled into the concrete allowing me to drive rebar in. Concrete dust blew out of the hole easily so I didn’t have to pull it out and back in as much. The bit fit my ½” hammer drill and made easy work of the job

Awesome drill bit, even without a hammer drill it went straight through the concrete like nothing

The initial use was to drill hole thru brick veneer. Like a hot knife through butter. Worked well.

Cut right through masonry and cinder block powerfully, just as it should.

This Carbide Hammer Drill Bit is used for stone and concrete. The bit is well made and I have never had one break on me yet. I have used them dozens of times and they drill a clean hole every time. Unlike cheaper ones, these do not warp or lose their sharpness due to heat. The bit fits into most any drill and the bit keeps its form when drilling at high speeds. Most importantly, because it is well made, it does not crack the stone when drilling.

Received product timely. It appears to be a great price for the item. Although the opportunity has not yet presented itself for me to use this particular drill bit – it won’t be long, I’m sure. Thanks.

This bit will fit in any electric drill that has a standard three-eighths-inch Jacob’s chuck, but for decent drilling speed you must use it in a hammer drill. I used this bit in a old hammer drill that I have had for years. For a bit of this diameter (one inch) I found it to be surprisingly fast. I didn’t actually time it, but it seemed like it took much less than a minute to drill Three-and-one-half inches into an old, hard, concrete foundation. It should be even faster through concrete block or ordinary clay brick. In new condition it has very sharp, machined cutting edges and should even cut through rebar pretty quickly. So far I have not been so unfortunate as to hit rebar. On inspecting the bit after drilling a few holes, I found chips in the cutting edge (see photo). Once the edge is chipped I would not expect it to cut through rebar as well as before, but it seems to continue cutting plain, even hard, well cured, concrete just fine. I may buy a second one of these and reserve it for times when I come up against rebar.

I never had a problem with anything Milwaukee. The one time I did they fixed the tool and withing 5 days had it back working. I was so happy with it that I recently just bought 1100 dollars worth of Milwaukee tools from home depot

As a homeowner and DIY’er i haven’t had a ton of experience with large diameter hammer drill bits. Typically I have used smaller bits appropriate for drilling expansion anchors into concrete or brick. Let me just say, this thing is a beast. The reason for needing the product was to relocate exterior spigots through our 2 wythe brick foundation wall. I was looking for a clean hole since previous installations done by other homeowners were very rough made it difficult to install the frost free assembly. This bit made relatively quick work of the wall and i was very happy with the result.

Used it to make some holes on different walls, one was of concrete, another cinder block and the third was cement! It did great in all three! Still looking almost new, just but of paint at tip gone
