These drill bits definitely do the job. We had to purchase to install a new TV in our garage which had concrete behind the wall. These did the trick.

The right toll for the job

I’m very pleased with the quality of the bits. The cut through concrete blocks like butter. Still sharp after multiple uses. I have used other brands that dull after the first use.

Bits seem strong and sharp. I took them to a thick concrete reinforced paver and it blew three it with the largest bit with relative ease. Make sure you read the packaging as it days the recommended bit size depending in the material… some reviewers said they had issues going through red brick using certain bits when it clearly states that the size they used is not recommended. I like the bits but I honestly did not see much of a difference between this and another name brand.

I drill through concrete easily and I was very happy because it normally takes so long to drill holes at my house outside but then realized the smaller bit bent so I returned them. These are long so seems flimsy.

Fairly tough drills for impact.

The hammer drill bits come in various sizes and are made of sturdy material. The bottom end is easy to fit into an impact driver. They are rather long to accommodate various jobs. I tried on a brick and it went in quite deep easily. I used the hammer setting in the drill and you can feel the impact it punches. The bits seem very strong and likely to last many years for small DIY jobs. The container itself is not user friendly. I recommend making a parallel cross cut on the label rather than taking it off. The container has a bottom and top lid, but you are probably better off storing it in a different container or on a pegboard.

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that the 5/32″ but snapped in the first use. I bumped up to a 1/4″ bit and was able to drive the entire bit into a cinder block without fail. It was one of the first times I used my hammer drill function on my Fuel drill, and it was impressive how quick it blasted through. Looking forward to putting these through the wringer. The packaging that can be used for storage is a nice touch

There was little difference between these bits and the ones TAPCON gives you with their screws.

I’ve used many small masonry bits but these are really the best I’ve used! They arrived quickly and well packaged. The back of the package has a very helpful chart to show what drive tools and speeds work best for the different size bits in select materials. I used them in a Dewalt hammer drill (not an sds style) to install tapcon screws in a poured foundation. The bits drilled fast and I was able to drill 8 holes with no noticeable wear. I’ve used 2 other brands of this style bit and generally get 4-5 holes drilled before the bit is dulled and useless. I will definitely be purchasing these Milwaukee bits in the future as needed.

Milwaukee hit a home run with these hammer drill bits. I really like the way they bore. I had zero problems drilling into a very hard fired brick. In my experience if you can drill fired brick, cinder block and concrete will be a breeze. I ran water the first time I used it and dry the next. Both times it bored just great. The only small hit I have is getting the things out of the packaging. It was not until I cut the, very thick, plastic case to pieces that I saw I could have cut the paper around the middle of the case and it would have just slipped up and off. Would have been nice if they had written “cut here” at the bottom of the paper label. Anyway, the important thing is they work and work very very well.

The MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE CARBIDE HAMMER DRILL BITS SET is excellent. I used this product to pre-drill some holes into concrete to secure a vent hood for a dryer. The drill bit easily and quickly drilled into the concrete material leaving a precise hole for my exterior rated screw to fasten the dryer vent hood to the exterior. I dappled on quite a bit of silicone to make everything watertight and prevent air leakage. This set is fantastic for the fact that you have an assortment of sizes you can choose from depending on what size fasteners you are using, an eye catching red trim to match with the Milwaukee tools and ease of finding in your bag (though I suggest keeping it in the container as purchased), and that these carbide bits pop right into the hammer drill chuck and can be popped out quickly to switch to the bit being used to secure the screw. Highly recommend obtaining this for drilling into concrete.

This is a great 3 piece carbide drill set from Milwaukee. It includes the following sizes: 5/32, 3/16 and 1/4. Including the 1/4″ hex shank end, they measure approximately 5 3/4″. They are ideal for impact and drill drivers. The back of the package shows the recommended usage.I set out to mount a new trellis on the side of my brick house. I only used the 5/32 bit, but I must say, it cut through the mortar very easily. I have used plenty of carbide bits in the past. This bit made short work of my project and hardly wore off any red paint on the bit!I look forward to using them for some future projects.

These drill bits hold up. I’ve used them for a while now. The color/paint chips a little but it holds up.
