I ordered the MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE CARBIDE HAMMER DRILL BITS (7 PCS) 5/32″, 3/16″ (2), 1/4″ (2), 5/16″, 3/8″. They come in a nice plastic case so that you can keep track of them. I had to drill some holes in a concrete pad, to mount some some post bases with some drop-in anchors. The bit that I used worked like a charm, (like a hot knife through butter). I was able to finish the work that I had lined out for today in no time flat. I have not used the other bits yet, however I’m sure that they work just as well. I am very glad that I ordered the MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE CARBIDE HAMMER DRILL BITS. MILWAUKEE rocks. You can buy them at the Home Depot today.

The Milwaukee Shockwave Carbide Hammer Drill Bits Set (5-pack) is perfect item for my family. My husband has a handyman business and is always using his Milwaukee drills and unfortunately, drill bits get misplaced or broken. These will be greats replacements for him to use. They look to be very durable and will be used daily in his business. l recommend these drill bits.

I’m very pleased with the quality of the bits. The cut through concrete blocks like butter. Still sharp after multiple uses. I have used other brands that dull after the first use.

This 5 pack hard carbide drill bits from Milwaukee, in sizes of 5/32″, 3/16″, 1/4″. 5/16″ and 3/8″ is the perfect combination concrete carbide drill bits for all concrete / masonry use, including granite. The hardened steel bit is sharpened for easy starting into hard masonry use. Drills easily into brick, block and tested on harder granite rock material, where these bits didn’t wobble, and easily drilled a clean hole. The 1/4″ shank is a added convenient feature making this product easy to use.

These drill bits are a time saver. I didn’t realize the difference between good and great bits until i tried these out. Do yourself a favor and use these bits; you won’t be disappointed.

These shock wave bits do what they are supposed to do very well which is drill holes in concrete, hard brick, and cinder block. I tested them with a hammer drill in both hammer and drill mode and, because these are hex drive, with an impact driver as well. All worked well with all materials with the hammer drill most efficient especially with the larger diameter bits. However, when I hit stone in cincrete, only the hammer drill penetrated without enlarging the hole.

I give five stars to the actual drill bits but the packaging drops the overall score to three stars. The package is hermetically sealed and I ended up using a Dremel tool to get it open. This is a seven drill set that has to be ordered online and I thought the packaging for the five drill set carried in the stores may be different. When I checked at my local Home Depot store the five drill set is packaged the same way. What I will advise is, “Buyer beware”.

The set of masonry bits is high quality and sharp. Thus far, they have not dulled while drilling tile, tile backer board, brick or brick mortar joints. Each bit’s size is labeled at the shank end. Conceivably the size label of the bit would wear away as it is inserted into the drill driver but only time will tell if this is true. The most annoying task is unpacking the bits. Understandably the packaging must be theft proof but the method on removing the wrapping is not intuitive. Only after you’ve destroyed the technical labels do you discover that the case components are male/female. See the attached pictures.

Great value for a great product….the wort thing about this product is getting the packaging open! I literally had to break out the plasma torch to get this thing opened. Besides that, no complaints

The MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE CARBIDE HAMMER DRILL BITS SET is excellent. I used this product to pre-drill some holes into concrete to secure a vent hood for a dryer. The drill bit easily and quickly drilled into the concrete material leaving a precise hole for my exterior rated screw to fasten the dryer vent hood to the exterior. I dappled on quite a bit of silicone to make everything watertight and prevent air leakage. This set is fantastic for the fact that you have an assortment of sizes you can choose from depending on what size fasteners you are using, an eye catching red trim to match with the Milwaukee tools and ease of finding in your bag (though I suggest keeping it in the container as purchased), and that these carbide bits pop right into the hammer drill chuck and can be popped out quickly to switch to the bit being used to secure the screw. Highly recommend obtaining this for drilling into concrete.

Right tool for the job. Hammer-drilled into a granite mailbox post like it was soft pine.

Bits seem strong and sharp. I took them to a thick concrete reinforced paver and it blew three it with the largest bit with relative ease. Make sure you read the packaging as it days the recommended bit size depending in the material… some reviewers said they had issues going through red brick using certain bits when it clearly states that the size they used is not recommended. I like the bits but I honestly did not see much of a difference between this and another name brand.
