Took a bit to get them started into brick. They wanted to jump around but once started, they cut pretty well.

I got this set for a up comming job that fall through. But I wanted to test them out and see how good they are so I found a big rock in the back yard and put some holes in it. First I used the smallest bit and put a hole in the rock in about 20 seconds I was all the way in, not bad at all. Then I used the larger bit 3/8 and went in at the same hole all in in 10 second. This really suprised me. So I got a piace of concret that was laying in the yard and tried puting a hole in it with the 3/8 bit with out a starter hole. this took longer there was stones in the concret and it was hard. But again I was all the way in in about 30 seconds. I just wish I had this set when I installed Transision strips in the house last month. It would on cut the concret like butter I used a old set of standard masonary bits and I really had to work at it to get the hole in the floor. I did use a inpack drill for the test and the bit was hot after cutting the concret hole but I was still able to remove it with out burning my hand. This tells me it was cutting the concret with out much problems at all. Again they are new sharp and well made. I did not aply alot pressure to cut the holes I just let the drill and bit do the work, and work they did. I will be getting a lager set for biger jobs. I just love good tools. they make my jobs so much easer.

These drill bits hold up. I’ve used them for a while now. The color/paint chips a little but it holds up.

I’ve used many small masonry bits but these are really the best I’ve used! They arrived quickly and well packaged. The back of the package has a very helpful chart to show what drive tools and speeds work best for the different size bits in select materials. I used them in a Dewalt hammer drill (not an sds style) to install tapcon screws in a poured foundation. The bits drilled fast and I was able to drill 8 holes with no noticeable wear. I’ve used 2 other brands of this style bit and generally get 4-5 holes drilled before the bit is dulled and useless. I will definitely be purchasing these Milwaukee bits in the future as needed.

There was little difference between these bits and the ones TAPCON gives you with their screws.

Yes, these hammer drill bits are doing the job. The bits have a very stable and secure fit, so there wasn’t any wobbling or inaccurate drilling. The bits are robust and well made, and sure to last longer than ones I’ve used in the past. Currently, I’m securing items to a concrete slab, and these bits are working well and holding up. Good choice, for sure.

I am giving a review of Milwaukee carbide hammer drill bits designed for impact duty in concrete. I recently added a few outside electrical outlets which required using pvc conduit, all of which had to be secured to concrete columns. I had to use a few different types of fasteners requiring different size holes to be drilled. This set of bits was perfect, they were easy to use with my cordless hammer drill. They all preformed well drilling with very little effort from the first hole to the last. They will definitely be in my tool box for further projects.
