Great hacksaw; like the fact that it can accommodate different blade lengths and stores up to six blades in the top section. The mechanism for tightening the blades and locking them in place worked very smoothly and easy — not like my dad’s old hacksaw from 1963.

I’ve had this saw for over a year now and it has not failed me yet! It has a very ergonomic handle and it’s easy to adjust the tension knob. The quality of this is great and it is well worth the money. I do like that you can store extra blades in it as well. I used this hacksaw to cut the rusted bolts under the toilet tank that was in a confined space. I was concrned about the perfornace because of the lack of movement allowance but it did a great job. The blade is very light, has good grip and under tension it stayed tight. It did not require me to replace the blade even though it is easy to do that. Great addition to tools.

I’m going to preface this review by saying that I have very little experience with saws. I had to make several cuts to a small plastic trash can to create my daughter’s Halloween costume. Initially, I got reciprocating saw thinking I needed something heavy duty, but then got cold feet about having to use one and got this instead and thank god I did because it did the job perfectly. Once I made the initial groove, it was so easy to maneuver it back and forth. Super smooth and very quiet. The edges weren’t rough at all only needed some sandpaper to really smooth everything out. Glad it worked out for this project but it’s a tool most people should probably have around their house anyway!
