I wish I had this tape when I was still working. It would have made things a lot easier. Someone put a lot of thought into this tape. It has features that make it worth the extra cost. The inch numbers are large and easy to read. The foot marks are also easy to read, with inch marks for the foot in smaller red numbers. The back side of the tape is also marked, with the numbers vertical instead of horizontal. From the 10″ to 22″ marks on the back side, there is an architectural scale. The magnet on the end of the tape is great when measuring from a metal object. The way the magnet is set up, it puts the end of the tape in inside measurement mode when engaged. The belt clip is built a bit different – it is made of wire, instead of a metal flap. It is working great so far. Time will tell how well it holds up compared to the metal flap. As expected, it is removable by removing one screw.

This is perfect magnetic tape measure for working with any material especially metal. very strong magnet. When I work on building trailers by myself the magnet is great, holds tight like extra set of hands. And the extra large numbers front and back is very nice for an easy read. The Milwaukee quality really show with this compact tape measure virtually indestructible.

I received my 16 foot Milwaukee magnetic tape today, and I like that the tape can be extended to over 9 feet before it starts to bend. The magnetic hook will come in handy for more than metal studs. This tape measure seems to be well protected if you should drop it, I have ruined metal cased tape measures before. The numbers are easy to read on the top and the bottom of the rule, and there is an architectural scale on the back of the blade if you use this tape measure for blueprints, etc. This Milwaukee tape measure has a lockable blade and also has a lifetime warranty.

Milwaukee 16 ft. Premium Magnetic Tape Measure. I have 8 or more tape measures of all different brands and length scattered about in my shop and home. This Milwaukee is now my favorite. I like the textured grip feel of it (typical Milwaukee) and the large easy to read display on both sides of the tape. Solid construction, well thought out design and the magnetized end comes in super handy. If you work with steel studs or are measuring any metal surface the strong magnet will let you measure without a helper. No more measuring tape falling to the ground just as you were about to take the measurement. I have stretched this tape its entire 16 feet on multiple metallic surfaces and it never let go once. I found the finger stop a nice addition too. You can easily measure and pause the tape with one hand by using your index finger or lock it down with the locking tab. I received this product free for my honest review.

I’ve always been a fan of Milwaukee tools but this is my first tape measure from them. Before retiring, using a tape professionally for year on and off the job and for years I was hooked on the lever latch tapes. I got this tape because someone left it in the wrong section of the store and upon seeing it, I picked it up. It had features I liked, like the finger stop and it locks down nicely and easily. And the large numbers on both sides of the tape. So I bought it. And without even thinking about the magnetic tip. It actually came in handy taking a measurement at home. If I had one way back when, it would have been my tape.

It is hard to imagine how such a small,16 foot, tape measure has so many features. Well get out that old 16 foot tape you carry and let’s compare. Will it run out 9 feet before the tape snaps, actually got it to 9 1/2 feet, does it have a magnet at the end of the tape, lanyard capable, big numbers, even I can read w/o glasses, On both sides. How about a 1/4″ or 1/8″ scale on the bottom side of the tape. A defined finger stop for the blade which makes it easier to set the blade stop. On the bottom side the first 6 inches have a plastic coating. The belt clip, while extremely stiff, once on will not pop off. And of course a light weight reinforced frame . Milwaukee does it again. Don’t feel ashamed, go to Home Depot and get one for yourself in 16 foot or 25 foot or both.

This is a well thought out and perfectly designed product. From the magnet in the end of the tape measure (to hold it in place for you) to the large easy to read numbers on the top and the bottom of the tape measure, make it exceptionally easy to use.It feels very solid, and should last a long, long time.It is very stylish (for a tape measure) and the Red Milwaukee Color makes it easy to find when you put it down. I am absolutely delighted with this product, it is easily the best tape measure I have ever owned.

ANOTHER GREAT “MILWAUKEE TOOLS” TOOL – THIS 16ft. MAGNETIC TAPE MEASURE IS HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTED – EASY TO READ 1/2 INCH NUMBERS ON BOTH SIDE OF THE ANTI-TARE COATED TAPE – THE METAL TAPE IS ONE INCH WIDE AND RIGGED BUT FLEXIBLE – HAS A FINGER STOP AND A HOLD BUTTON STOP – HAS A STRONG BELT HANGER AND REINFORCED FRAME – THIS IS A VERY NICE MAGNETIC 16ft. MILWAUKEE COMPACT TAPE.

I am a union electrician and it does the trick for me. I only wish it was a little sturdier. The tape cannot stretch long distances even with the magnetic tip. Other then that it’s a very nice tool

This Milwaukee 16-foot, Premium Tape Measure is my new favorite! I love everything about this tape measure. To start with the numbers are very large so they are easy to see. They also have numbers on both sides of the tape measure. Milwaukee even put a magnet on the tape end making it easier to use. The tape measure has a locking feature as you would expect, but what I like is that you can use your finger as a lock to hold the tape tight. Your finger pushes on the tape underneath to hold it in place. Try one and see for yourself!
